Perfect 3 day stay. Campsite was private. Grounds were safe. Date trees were prolific. Trails were lit and magical. Facilities had rustic character and were clean. The aquifer that makes this possible in the middle of the desert was amazing. The private spacious hot tubs at each site can be a refreshing cool tub in the middle of the day and propane-heated to a hot tub at night. To sit around the fire was amazing. The tents have AC! Mattresses were very nice. Staff was always friendly responsive and attentive. Jason the co-owner expressed that there would be lots of improvements coming up in terms of furnishings. This was my little dog's first off leash camping trip and she had a whole world to safely explore. I can see this be a great place for a large group or extended family to rent together because it feels like a whimsical maze and also could be a little village of all your favorite people. There is a beautiful cold swimming pool at the main house where the kitchen is. It's a walk from the campsite (maybe 300 meters) and much more fun to cook over the fire in the private sapce of your own so make sure to bring your kitchen and dishwashing gear to set up. In the future I am told there will also be a built outdoor kitchen for several sites to share. This was already a well established site that was worth every penny and it sounds like it's going to get even better as the owner seems passionate about it.
