This property was perfect for our needs! We visited Saturday through Tuesday and found the space to be quite welcoming. The home is fully fenced so no need to worry about your pooch wandering off. The kitchen was well appointed and had everything you could want, from cupcake tins to soup pots, sautee pans, cutting boards and basic spices if you happent to forget your own. The hot tub was clean, warm, and welcoming. I slept on the upstairs loft queen size bed and found it to be very comfortable. We were able to watch a movie on the hosts netflix account and found all of the furniture to be surprisingly comfortable. I 10/10 recommend this place and can't wait to visit again.

Great spot. Perfect for our family of 4 plus dog. Kitchen was well stocked and house had everything we needed. We really enjoyed our first visit to Shelter Cove. The beaches and hiking are breathtaking.

We enjoyed the private and cozy atmosphere, the privacy of the rear deck, and the hot tub under the stars. Our senior dog had some trouble with the stairs, but couldn’t get enough time in front of the authentic wood stove, stocked with a massive stockpile of the most perfect firewood. The upstairs balcony is an absolute must for star gazers, and a family of Stellar Jays are nesting in a nearby tree. The faint sound of the waves crashing on the rocks lulled us to sleep, a lone rooster would remind responsible people when to start their mornings, while the playful call of seals marked the beginning of ours. We were looking for somewhere peaceful and isolated, near the coast and the redwoods and we truly found it, here.

If you are wondering if you should book this space, the answer is YES! Stacy’s oasis was exactly what I was looking for—quiet, peaceful, ocean view, hot tub and outdoor shower, comfortable bed, and many places to sit inside to write, read, and daze out the windows for hours. The kitchen wad very well stocked with everything you need, and the wood burning stove to heat the space was toasty. Stacy is very communicative and kind, too. I will definitely be back!

A gorgeous place to land and settle in. Great access to Shelter Cove black sands beaches and town park. Hot tub was perfection, our dogs loved the fenced yard, and we had everything we needed!

This place is incredible. The ambiance created by the earthy decor inside and out was relaxing, refreshing and so connected to nature. They brought the outside in and made the inside blend seamlessly with it. Beautiful properties have an irresistible charm to them.
The hot tub right off my room was without a doubt the most pampered I have been in a long while. The accoutrements were perfect for any anticipated need. I loved experiencing this space and I would recommend it without hesitation.

I love this place, such beautiful grounds and the view with the hot tub was incredible. The house was cozy and there were so many places to lounge and enjoy the view.
The dog loved this place as well; so much to smell and I was so happy to have a place for her to enjoy and not worry about her escaping. The peace and quiet was incomparable; I cannot wait to go back.

Fantastic home to escape to! The view, deck, outside shower and hot tub created such a relaxing atmosphere. The home is clean, comfortable, and very inviting. Great location- we walked into town/the coast for our meals. Restaurant selections were perfect- coffee, beer, cocktails, and food were all great across the board. We would definitely recommend an escape here to anyone who is lucky enough to book this home!

Stacey thank you for a week of relaxation with our 3 beagles. We were able to relax because Stacy’s outside yard is completely fenced in. Our pups had a field day running and playing.
It was like home away from home.
Everything you would need is in her home for you to use except a coffee pot but I brought that.
We will definitely be back often now that we found her place.

This place was exactly what we needed. Even though there are a few houses close by it was extremely private. Beautiful views, amazing weather and a perfectly relaxing place for us and the dogs!

We had a really great weekend at the Shelter Grove House. It was the perfect little spot for some quiet family time. The house was clean, comfy, and and had everything we needed for a low-key stay.
The hot tub was definitely the highlight for my kids — clean and private, it was the perfect way to wind down each evening. It was nice to be somewhere that felt tucked away and quiet.
Would definitely come back again when we’re in need of another low-key getaway.

We love Stacy's house so much. We love the sunset, sunrise and the stars, and the jacuzzi. The balcony view looking at the ocean and the night sky was so beautiful and amazing. We saw so many blue Jays and hummingbirds flying close by. Stacy gave me a cute plushy heart ❤️. My dad got to take pictures of the stars and it was awesome. I loved our stay in shelter cove here! The house is beautiful and still felt private even being in the middle of a neighborhood. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed for cooking at home and we were left with some lovely recommendations for what to do in the area. The view is beautiful from the house and looks even closer than in the pictures. The outdoor shower and hot tub were the best parts and we would love to come again.

It was a great place with great views! It was amazing catching the sunsets and sunrises. Lots of wildlife and bugs to observe. Restaurants and bars are pretty close by.

This is an artful and peaceful home for retreat. The garden is lush, the sounds of the ocean and birds fill the air. My kids and I look forward to returning.
