Description

Cut the crud and head to Cunard Lake Campground for a sans-frill genuine camping experience. Lakeside tent and RV sites happen here on the edge of Lake Boat O’Clock, also known as Lake Cunard, where electric motors are welcome on the lake’s belly, and canoes will find a friendly haven in the creek leading to it. Vault toilets and...well, that’s about it as far as the amenities game goes, make cutting the crud that much easier, and make enjoying the great outdoors that much more plain and simple. How it should be.

Cunard campground was designated a "Quiet" campground in 2019 - NO generators, radios, tv, musical instruments, or ANY "noise producing device". It has become a favorite for people wanting to enjoy the peaceful Northwoods experience without unreasonably loud neighbors. The lake is lovely and beckons a dawn or sunset paddle. With luck, you'll be serenaded by a loon or two, or maybe startle one of the resident beavers.
