A literal 30 acre pocket of paradise tucked away just minutes North of Columbia, MO. Here you’ll find a private lake with fishing access, rolling hills with stunning sunrises and sunsets, plenty of space to reset with nature, perfect for a glamping getaway. We have 3 separate sites on the property. Our 24’ yurt that sleeps up to 6 with indoor toilet (no shower) propane fireplace for chilly fall and winter stays and AC for the Missouri heat; a cozy RV that sleeps 4 (queen bed and bunks in the back) offers all the amenities of home with a kitchen and bathroom (with hot water and shower); and last we have a level gravel site with 30amp electric and water hook ups (no dump capability) with picnic table, fire pit and grill available for those that want to bring their own RV. We are Pet friendly (with additional cost for the yurt) as we have our own over friendly farm dog. Come play yard games, swing, fish, bring your kayak or paddle board, kids can play or swim on our sandy beach, or just walk our 1 mile perimeter trail, a perfect place to rest, rejuvenate and recharge. Farm fresh eggs are available as well as any extra firewood. We look forward to meeting you and sharing our little pocket of paradise.

PeaceTree Farms is an outdoor resort and event venue in Northeastern Missouri. Our mission is pretty simple - we want to provide guests with a beautiful place to connect with nature and each other.
PeaceTree Farms is where good times and memories grow, and it is our genuine pleasure to provide a special place to unwind, explore, and celebrate.
We offer many types of accommodation with semi-private access to 180 acres of Missouri nature and wildlife. Go for a swim, take a kayak around Goose Island, or explore one of the many trails across the property. Fishing on the 7-acre lake is permitted on a catch-and-release basis.
Our campsites are fully stocked with firewood, and we request that you do not transport firewood on or off the property. For those who want to enjoy PeaceTree in more comfort, our air-conditioned private rooms and cottage offer amenities that will make your stay even more relaxing. Day passes are available from 7 am until sunset for guests who aren't staying overnight.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The cabin was very nice and clean. The real gem is the property tho. It was very private and the lake was fully stocked with different canoes and kayaks to enjoy. Katie was very responsive and helpful. I would definitely come back here!

It was so peaceful and beautiful. The cabin had AC, which was fantastic. But even during a July heatwave the property was a nice temperature to walk around, especially the woodland area. The host was great, and very responsive! I will stay here again.

Quiet and quaint it’s perfect for a relaxing and rejuvenating get away. The farms name is perfect, bc it really is so peaceful. My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at the cabin and absolutely loved exploring the farm. Seeing and hearing all the wildlife and what nature has to offer was the highlight of our trip. Katie and her husband are incredibly nice and accommodating anything you may need. The cabin was clean and neat and seriously so perfect for a solo or couples get away!

My fiancé and I wanted a little getaway from the city and The Pocket was the perfect choice! We brought our little chihuahua mix with us as well and there was plenty of space for the three of us in the RV-we really enjoyed sitting outside in the evening, it was so relaxing! The property is lovely and we had no issue finding it via Google Maps-all in all we enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend booking it if you need an escape to the countryside!

The Pocket is s must-see-and-stay if you want peace, beauty, warmth and comfort. We stayed in the RV with 2 teens and everyone was very comfortable and had plenty of room. The land is truly beautiful. I loved just listening to the breeze and the birds. Fishing was fun. The town of Columbia is clean and has stuff to do. (We played minigolf!) Amanda was a very thoughtful, friendly and attentive host. Even our dog was more peaceful! It was just what our family needed.

We enjoyed our stay in Cabin #2 @ Peacetree Farm. Katie was a wonderful host. Bathrooms were exceptionally clean and our room had nice cool A/C with a serene view into the woods. They were welcoming of our dog and had a goofy kitten that came to play with her frequently. Stargazing was amazing; being in such a remote location and far from any major city lights. We saw several shooting stars and could clearly see the Milky Way. We walked the 1-mile loop around the gorgeous 7 acre lake and saw some breathtaking views along the way. We relaxed by the water and did some fishing - we didn't catch any but we saw another group pulling out a few good sized fish. There weren't a lot of other campers there and everyone was spread out over the property so it felt like we mostly had the place to ourselves. We had our own fire pit (wood provided) with chairs provided and also had access to our own charcoal grill. We had access to a canoe and kayaks and had planned to paddle around the lake with our dog but ran out of time. We hope to go back again in the future. This was a wonderful getaway for us to relax in nature. I highly recommend this place if you're looking looking for a very peaceful getaway in a gorgeous remote location.

We stayed in the cottage and loved it! It was very clean and comfortable. The lake is great for swimming and kayaking. It’s so quiet and peaceful at the farm. Perfect for stargazing at night and watching beautiful sunrises. Katie is a wonderful host! She gave us some of her tomatoes when we forgot to bring our own. Highly recommend Peacetree Farm!
