When coming from the south, turn left toward the mountain immediately before the long Hauula Beach park bridge or when coming from the north turn right immediately toward the mountain just after the long park bridge into my dirt driveway. We have ocean access from the property (by crossing the road) although there are better and easier places to get in the water (such as Ka`a`awa and Ku`aloa Beach Park). We generally see the stars and the sun and moon rise. We also see the colors of the Bay change with the tides, clouds, wind, light. We are focused on education about Hawai`i, being kind to animals (and all life, including humans), and we are privileged to be able to share our aloha as well as farm bounty. We grow chili peppers, ulu (breadfruit), kalo (taro), noni, vegetables, bananas, olena (turmeric), ginger, etc. Not pictured is the common kitchen area. We have access to Reiki, massage, and other types of services. We have kayaks, surfboards, general snorkel and beach gear, SUPs, and connections to local businesses for other opportunities (e.g., horseback riding, sailing, rowing, etc.). There are surfing, kayaking, swimming, snorkeling, scuba, horseback riding, and hiking options nearby. We are also conveniently near a mall and many great places to eat. It is also lovely to hang out here at the farm and enjoy the peace, away from concrete and traffic congestion. There are places to explore and a steep climb one can hike to get to the edge of the property where there are many and even more spectacular views. We are a real homestead and aspiring organic farm focused on Hawaiian Heritage plants and a Sanctuary for animals. We have many Native Hawaiian plants, superfoods, and culturally important plants. We also have Bucket and Scream (our goats), Venus, Zenith, and Sweetie (farm cats), Ipo (Australian Shepard farm dog), turkeys (Royal Palms), and a bunch of chickens. It is possible to get around in the near area, and on and off the property, on The Bus. The Bus stop is down a hill about 5 minutes away. We are always involved in community and local food, so let us know your interests. & let us know if you want to plant plants, weed bad grass, attend a cacao ceremony, or donate to a good cause.

We are at the top of a hill in a secluded and secure Homestead farm overlooking Kane`ohe Bay and Mokapu (and the Marine Corps Base) as well as the Pali (cliffs). We grow chili peppers, ulu (breadfruit), kalo (taro), noni, vegetables, bananas, olena (turmeric), ginger, etc. Not pictured is the common kitchen area. We have access to Reiki, massage, and other types of services. We have kayaks, surfboards, general snorkel and beach gear, SUPs, and connections to local businesses for other opportunities (e.g., horseback riding, sailing, rowing, etc.). There are surfing, kayaking, swimming, snorkeling, scuba, horseback riding, and hiking options nearby. We are also conveniently near a mall and many great places to eat. It is also lovely to hang out here at the farm and enjoy the peace, away from concrete and traffic congestion. There are places to explore and a steep climb one can hike to get to the edge of the property where there are many and even more spectacular views. We are a real homestead and aspiring organic farm focused on Hawaiian Heritage plants and a Sanctuary for animals. We have many Native Hawaiian plants, superfoods, and culturally important plants. We really enjoyed our time here! We were able to find it in the dark just fine, the directions they send are super helpful/detailed! We really enjoyed the outdoor shower, the bathroom was clean too. The chickens are loud in the morning, this didn’t bother us at all because we’re heavy sleepers and just rolled over and went back to sleep but if you are a light sleeper this would probably be an issue for you. Was located pretty close to town too and things we wanted to do which was great! We were able to book last minute with no issues too. I would definitely recommend! Beautiful views!

Exactly as described. If you can't handle bugs don't stay here. Aside from that, this place is an amazing place to stay in Oahu if you want to be removed from the hustle and bustle. We stayed in Waikiki for 4nts and here for 3nts. Total opposite ends of the spectrum but totally worth it. The farmstay has a backdrop you only see in movies. The natural sounds were soothing and the facilities were just fine (as long as you don't expect A/C and a TV. It was great to be disconnected from the real world. There's a backup generator for power if the solar battery bank runs out. With that being said, it was nice to be in complete darkness to be honest. If you've camped before then this would be perfect for you. If you have not camped before but want a break from city life then give this amazing place a chance. Wonderful experience.

Living Circle Farms is an INCREDIBLE place! My boyfriend and I rented a minibus and needed a place to camp on the island. The communication leading up to our stay was impeccable, the directions were easy to follow, and the staff were the warmest, friendliest people. The caretaker, Kristian made us feel like family and was so accommodating. The people working on the farm were lovely. The bathrooms and the outdoor shower were nice to have so close to our campsite. When I return to Oahu I will Not hesitate to stay here again. The town of Haleiwa is 10 minutes away, as is the beach. Haleiwa has great places to eat, an awesome market, cool bars, and is fun to walk around. Overall, this experience was absolutely amazing and I would Recommend it to anyone looking for a unique experience on Oahu.

Staying at the Sun Farm was great! We camped at multiple spots around the island, and they had the most hostel feel to it! The charging options on site with a fridge was perfect for our last night before leaving, as we we were able to have things available to use the next day. Hot water in the showers and our site was right next to the office. We were able to participate in the Sun Farm tour and we HIGHLY recommend! If we visit the Sun Farm again we would like to explore their cabin/tent options for sure!

Camp Host Marcos is a great guy who’s willing to do what it takes to make everyone feel comfortable. He took the time to get to know a little about me and went outside the normal SOP to accommodate me instead of sending me away. The grounds are well kept and gives the feel as though you’re camping in the middle of a jungle. Thanks Marcos for the stay in lieu of me being a little out of sorts.

We rented a camper van and parked it at the star camp. It was very easy to find, Manny is very welcoming and kind. He gave us very thorough and easy to follow instructions in our check in. He was also very easy to reach and communicate with. The views are stunning and highly recommend the showers with the mountains in the background. A perfect place to get away and admire the beauty that is Mother Nature.

My friends and I had a wonderful time here, there is a kitchenette area with a large sink with running water, picnic tables, and a fire pit that we used to make hot dogs and smores. There’s also a porcelain toilet and shower with hot water, so this site has great amenities for camping but still staying comfortable. Perfect for our island camping staycation.

I never got bored living here. Every day I got to wake up and go to the beach just minutes away from home, or my cousins and I would have a fishing contest to see who could catch the most fish. We would also go paddling up the river to lay nets down to catch some ono (delicious) crab for dinner. Learn more about this land: Aloha! Looking for a place to lounge and adventure? Mangrove Lounge is the place for you! Mangrove Lounge is located right behind the historical town called Haleiwa Town. Camper Vans or RVs are more than welcome!
