A truck can be driven to riverside campsite when dry or there is a 100 yard walk from a small parking area. More vehicles can be parked on top of hill which is 5 minute walk. There is a picnic table and fire pit at the riverside campsite. Bald Eagles are seen most days in the winter. Birders will also appreciate the feeder in the campsite. Fishing poles are available as an add on. You can bring your own too! Catch small mouth, large mouth, bream, crappie, catfish, gar, and carp/buffalo, but you’re competing with the neighborhood beaver so be on the lookout for him! This land is a six acre slice of property that includes a meadow, wooded areas, a small pine forest, native stones galore, a steep mountain side, giant boulders, a wet weather stream and pond, and 2 old tin barns. From West to East, the property starts flat but then begins to slope upward as it runs from the base of Fitzgerald Mountain Eastward nearly to the top of the mountain. The former homestead was removed within the past 20 years, creating a fantastic spot for the campground. It is located a short distance from Fitzgerald Station, which was a well known stop on Military road (later known as Butterfield stage line) in the 1830’s. The camp is only 2 miles from historic downtown Springdale, which is an area undergoing exciting revitalization. A concrete trail is planned that will connect the camp area to downtown making biking to restaurants and pubs much easier in the near future. The Razorback Greenway runs through downtown, and provides a biking connection to all of Northwest Arknsas.Learn more about this land:Fitzgerald Mountain Van and RV Camp offers 2 RV spots (26' max) with ride in / ride out access to Fitzgerald Mountain's world class trails.  The mountain is home to OZ trails mountain biking and hiking for all levels. (look up OZ trails  - Fitzgerald Mountain)The 2 van camper/RV spots sit at the base of a shade tree and the entry to the “Goat Trail.”  This trail (named for the adjacent goat farm) will lead campers to the campfire area, "Fitzmo Barn", and Butterfield trail.  Fitzmo barn has a map where you can leave your mark by putting a pin in your hometown and signing the wall.  Leave your brand's sticker on the wall so other bikers and hikers can find their way to your hometown spots. The barn has chairs for the fire pit area, and can also provide some shelter if it rains.Butterfield trail crosses the camp area adjacent to Fitzmo Barn.   Head North on Butterfield to connect with blue and black trails including the “best trail ever” and fantastic views from the mountain top.  Head South to connect with trails for all skill levels including a strider course for the kids at Bayyari Park.  Bayyari Park is only 1/3 mile away and has public restrooms that I'm told "remain open until 10:00 PM year round unless there is extreme cold."The only neighbors of the camp have a small farm to the North, and their goats and peacock occasionally visit the camp’s Western field.  Other than these neighbors, the area feels secluded, especially at the fire pit and barn area. Fitzgerald is a historical area.  Fitzgerald station is nearby, and served as a stop on the Butterfield overland stagecoach mail route that was used in the 1800s. Downtown Springdale is 2 miles away, and the pubs and restaurants cater to bikers.  A paved trail is planned for the near future that will provide bike access to downtown.*Note* Backing up to a turn around area will be required for exit from the RV spots.

We have several private campsites sprinkled throughout the forest reserve for you to stay at as you enjoy the Illinois River, hike, or bike the trails. The mountain bike trails run very close to this site and the White Water Park is about 2 miles down the gravel road. The trailhead for the paved bike trail is around the corner from this campsite and goes all the way down to WOKA. There is an off road bike trail located right next to the field by this campsite along with several other trails. There are many more miles of additional mountain bike trails in town and on the north side of Siloam. WOKA has 8 low-hazard whitewater features, seasonal rentals of kayaks, rafts, paddle boards and actual surf boards, and concessions, with shaded viewing. Changing facilities and restrooms are on-site at WOKA. The Siloam Springs Kayak Park is located up river on Fisher Ford Rd, and has access for swimming and tubing. If you enjoy riding dirt bikes or quads, there is the family friendly Off-road race track, Gas MX, directly across the highway from Woka. We also have dirt track racing at Arrowhead Speedway nearby in West Siloam Springs, West of the Casino.

I had an amazing stay at Sara’s farm. The property is huge, and I loved being able to choose any spot I wanted for camping. The friendly animals like horses, cows, and alpacas made the whole experience feel extra special and surprisingly relaxing. There’s a small pond on the land that reflected the clouds and sunset in a beautiful way. Overall, I really enjoyed my time here and would love to come back again.

We chose the glamping option which I would recommend. When we arrived, our tent was fully set up with a double high queen mattress, cooking and eating utensils, paper towels, toilet paper, and bottled water. Since the weekend was suppose to be cold, there were tons of blankets and even a propane powered heater provided. The site we were at needed a little more tender, loving care as it was a fresh, new site, but was in a beautiful spot overlooking a lovely, blue swimming hole. The sounds of the river/creek and our crackling fire were magical. Due to unforseen circumstances, (and unexpectedly frigid weather that we were not completely prepared for) we had to cut our trip short, but Sam and Michelle were completely understanding. We love visiting Arkansas and the property was beautiful, especially with the fall leaves in full color. I would definitely recommend this spot and would come back in the future. Also, the directions were clear and easy to follow and any questions or concerns were promptly addressed.

With 60 acres for your enjoyment and gated entrance, you won’t see anyone else during your whole stay! 15 min from I-49 with Walmarts and gas stations even nearer keeps you close to town. You can choose from multiple campsites, but we will not book anyone else during your stay. Camp right next to the Illinois River under giant oaks, ash trees, and sycamores with a waterfall behind you and the river in front. Or move up the hill and enjoy the 10 mile view (when leaves are dropped) while watching the sunset. Seriously, it’s the best view west of Fayetteville. The deep shade of the campsite with the breeze coming over river keeps the space surprisingly cool even in extreme heat. Feeling fun? Camp in the old dirt mine with 10’ walls around you shaded by a massive pine growing in the center and oaks around the perimeter. Hiking trails have been cut for you to enjoy the property. Make sure to check out “Mini Hawksbill Crag”- a rocky outcropping hanging off the cliff side. Another fun trail leads you up a creek bed with multiple small waterfalls. A couple canoes and kayaks are available to float the river if you desire as an add on. You can go upstream easily in normal water flow! If you’re looking for fun family time with your kids, I will do whatever I can to help you during your stay to make lasting memories. We’re big believers in families enjoying the outdoors together! A truck can be driven to riverside campsite when dry or there is a 100 yard walk from a small parking area. More vehicles can be parked on top of hill which is 5 minute walk. There is a picnic table and fire pit at the riverside campsite. Bald Eagles are seen most days in the winter. Birders will also appreciate the feeder in the campsite. Fishing poles are available as an add on. You can bring your own too! Catch small mouth, large mouth, bream, crappie, catfish, gar, and carp/buffalo, but you’re competing with the neighborhood beaver so be on the lookout for him! Please release small mouth besides a legal keeper is 14" (6-7 year old fish!) and limit of 2. Rear wheeled drive vehicles should park at the parking area by old stable Absolutely no hunting wildlife or foraging mushrooms without prior approval.

There are miles of county maintained bumpy dirt roads leading to the site. Expect your vehicle to get dusty. There is a creek crossing that is required to reach the campsites. We recommend high clearance and/or 4WD or AWD vehicles. If you are unable to cross the creek, you will need to park in the parking area and walk across the creek to reach your site.

This land is a six acre slice of property that includes a meadow, wooded areas, a small pine forest, native stones galore, a steep mountain side, giant boulders, a wet weather stream and pond, and 2 old tin barns. From West to East, the property starts flat but then begins to slope upward as it runs from the base of Fitzgerald Mountain Eastward nearly to the top of the mountain. The former homestead was removed within the past 20 years, creating a fantastic spot for the campground. It is located a short distance from Fitzgerald Station, which was a well known stop on Military road (later known as Butterfield stage line) in the 1830’s. The camp is only 2 miles from historic downtown Springdale, which is an area undergoing exciting revitalization. A concrete trail is planned that will connect the camp area to downtown making biking to restaurants and pubs much easier in the near future. The Razorback Greenway runs through downtown, and provides a biking connection to all of Northwest Arknsas.Learn more about this land:Fitzgerald Mountain Van and RV Camp offers 2 RV spots (26' max) with ride in / ride out access to Fitzgerald Mountain's world class trails.  The mountain is home to OZ trails mountain biking and hiking for all levels. (look up OZ trails  - Fitzgerald Mountain)The 2 van camper/RV spots sit at the base of a shade tree and the entry to the “Goat Trail.”  This trail (named for the adjacent goat farm) will lead campers to the campfire area, "Fitzmo Barn", and Butterfield trail.  Fitzmo barn has a map where you can leave your mark by putting a pin in your hometown and signing the wall.  Leave your brand's sticker on the wall so other bikers and hikers can find their way to your hometown spots. The barn has chairs for the fire pit area, and can also provide some shelter if it rains.Butterfield trail crosses the camp area adjacent to Fitzmo Barn.   Head North on Butterfield to connect with blue and black trails including the “best trail ever” and fantastic views from the mountain top.  Head South to connect with trails for all skill levels including a strider course for the kids at Bayyari Park.  Bayyari Park is only 1/3 mile away and has public restrooms that I'm told "remain open until 10:00 PM year round unless there is extreme cold."The only neighbors of the camp have a small farm to the North, and their goats and peacock occasionally visit the camp’s Western field.  Other than these neighbors, the area feels secluded, especially at the fire pit and barn area. Fitzgerald is a historical area.  Fitzgerald station is nearby, and served as a stop on the Butterfield overland stagecoach mail route that was used in the 1800s. Downtown Springdale is 2 miles away, and the pubs and restaurants cater to bikers.  A paved trail is planned for the near future that will provide bike access to downtown.*Note* Backing up to a turn around area will be required for exit from the RV spots.

Sitting in the middle of an 850 acre nature preserve, you will have plenty of privacy to enjoy a getaway in the woods without being disturbed by other campers. This site is relatively flat and easy to access on the edge of a field along the tree line of the forest. You may notice old stone chimneys standing throughout the woods where cabins once stood, back when Lake Frances was a resort area in the 1920s. On this camp site, we have a Micro Cabin that is wired for a generator (not provided) that sleeps 2, or bring your own tent and enjoy the view of the stars. We have several private campsites sprinkled throughout the forest reserve for you to stay at as you enjoy the Illinois River, hike, or bike the trails. The mountain bike trails run very close to this site and the White Water Park is about 2 miles down the gravel road. The trailhead for the paved bike trail is around the corner from this campsite and goes all the way down to WOKA. There is an off road bike trail located right next to the field by this campsite along with several other trails. There are many more miles of additional mountain bike trails in town and on the north side of Siloam. WOKA has 8 low-hazard whitewater features, seasonal rentals of kayaks, rafts, paddle boards and actual surf boards, and concessions, with shaded viewing. Changing facilities and restrooms are on-site at WOKA. The Siloam Springs Kayak Park is located up river on Fisher Ford Rd, and has access for swimming and tubing. If you enjoy riding dirt bikes or quads, there is the family friendly Off-road race track, Gas MX, directly across the highway from Woka. We also have dirt track racing at Arrowhead Speedway nearby in West Siloam Springs, West of the Casino.
