Dry RV site located 5 miles from downtown Talkeetna in a quiet, easy-to-access, family-friendly neighborhood. Please note: There are no hookups. The neighborhood is adjacent to the Fish Lake Trailhead, offering a 0.7-mile hike to Fish Lake and its canoe portage trail. There are no dump facilities, water, or electricity on-site. Quiet hours are from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., and generators are not permitted during those hours. There are two RV sites on this 1.5-acre property, separated by a vegetation barrier and a circular driveway for added privacy. Both sites are accessed via a large, RV-friendly half-circle driveway. The neighborhood is also adjacent to a 14-mile paved bike path and offers easy access to hiking trails leading to Fish Lake. This is a family-friendly property. No parties, please. To access the Fish Lake Trailhead, you can walk to the end of Dragonfly Hollow and cross the grassy knoll visible from the property. If you have a canoe, you can also drive to the Fish Lake Trailhead parking lot and carry your canoe approximately 0.7 miles along the canoe portage trail to Fish Lake. Tent/small rig campers tend to like seclusion of Site #2 and RV campers seem to prefer site #1 pull through. This is a very lovely and well maintained campground. The host family was very welcoming and readily available for any questions. Having the creek right next to our site was very peaceful. The only thing that I struggled with was that the train horn was much louder than I thought it would be. Although the train only went past a couple times during the two night stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Creekside Campground. The setting is beautiful, peaceful, and incredibly family friendly. Our 16 month old absolutely loved exploring the nature paths. The gentle, shallow creek was perfect for little one to throw rocks into and have a laugh. It was also a huge plus that they had nice, convenient showers available, which made camping with a toddler so much easier. The campground is clean, well maintained, and has a lovely, quiet atmosphere; aside from the occasional train that comes through but the little one loved waiving to the passengers. Jeff and his family were incredibly kind and welcomed us with freshly baked cookies and even guided us to our spot. We cannot wait to come back!

We loved our stay. The campground is well laid out, very well maintained and obvious care has been taken to landscape. We appreciated the pull through site features towing a trailer. The first night we took a serene paddle with a rowboat on the lake at sunset. It was wonderful. All provided with no extra charge. 5 stars highly recommend!

The property is beautiful! It's convenient location and attention to detail makes this place a great stay. Jessica is super kind and has amazing attention to detail with the decor, beauty, and great flow of the property she designed for guests! We were able to take our dog there with lots of space to enjoy walks in a gorgeous woods setting right on the lake! The amenities are off the charts, the sites are spacious and private and we really enjoyed our short stay! We checked in late and left early and it was easy to use the app. She even has a la carte options like a propane fireplace, sauna, hot tub and kayaks available to all guests....absolutely incredible, highly recommend and we will stay again!
