Dry RV site located 5 miles from downtown Talkeetna in a quiet, easy-to-access, family-friendly neighborhood. Please note: There are no hookups. The neighborhood is adjacent to the Fish Lake Trailhead, offering a 0.7-mile hike to Fish Lake and its canoe portage trail. There are no dump facilities, water, or electricity on-site. Quiet hours are from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., and generators are not permitted during those hours. There are two RV sites on this 1.5-acre property, separated by a vegetation barrier and a circular driveway for added privacy. Both sites are accessed via a large, RV-friendly half-circle driveway. The neighborhood is also adjacent to a 14-mile paved bike path and offers easy access to hiking trails leading to Fish Lake. This is a family-friendly property. No parties, please. To access the Fish Lake Trailhead, you can walk to the end of Dragonfly Hollow and cross the grassy knoll visible from the property. If you have a canoe, you can also drive to the Fish Lake Trailhead parking lot and carry your canoe approximately 0.7 miles along the canoe portage trail to Fish Lake. Tent/small rig campers tend to like seclusion of Site #2 and RV campers seem to prefer site #1 pull through. Site dimensions: • Site #1: Pull-through site measuring approximately 50 ft. x 16.5 ft., comfortably accommodating RVs up to 35 feet. • Site #2: Pull-in site measuring approximately 50 ft. x 18 ft., comfortably accommodating campers up to 30 feet. • Entrance gates are 11 feet wide. *We have added the use of shower and flushing toilet with hot and cold water. This is located just south on adjacent property. It is about a three minute walk. This may be shared with other guests.

This site includes a flat gravel pull-in or back-in RV parking spot and an established fire ring and picnic table. It is in the quiet and wooded Fish Lake Landing neighborhood. The neighborhood is adjacent to the Fish Lake Trailhead, which is a 0.7 mile hike to Fish Lake and the Fish Lake Canoe Portage trail. The neighborhood is also adjacent to a 14 mile paved bike path just 5 miles from downtown Talkeetna. No hook-ups at site. *We have added the use of shower and flushing toilet with hot and cold water. This is located just south on adjacent property. It is about a three minute walk. This may be shared with other guests.

We arrived with a truck and ATV trailer, the paths were spacious, the gates were easily propped open and the campsite was neat. Would definitely recommend.

The camp site was clean and fairly level, which was great since we were tent camping. The fire pit was nicely separated and had a decent path and area around it. Did expect it to be a bit deeper, but it worked great. Would stay again.

Camp spot was clean, nice that I had the “loop” to myself which I could close the gate to. My only “negative” was there wasn’t really a spot for a tent besides in the circle driving loop so just on gravel. It felt secluded as I was off the road enough I could barely hear the few cars that passed.

Nice private sights with a gated entrance. Far enough off the Talkeetna Spur Rd you don't hear traffic. You will hear the occasional train traffic, but it seemed faint to us. Nice fire pit and picnic table setup. The road to the sites is gravel, but not dusty and a short trip. We paid $40/night, but it looks like they recently adjusted their prices accordingly to a more reasonable $30-$35/night. $30 a night seems right for the privacy one gets, especially with no hookups (electric/water/sewer). If they had electric and water this would be ideal and worth $50 to $60/night.

I work full-time and travel with my dog in my van. It's always a little challenging finding a spot that is suitable for work and dog walking. We ended up having a very lovely stay at this HipCamp! This spot had strong cell reception, and decent solar in site #2. . I was able to walk my dog on both the bike path and the trail to fish Lake. It's a nice little hike and I decided to take my packraft out on fish Lake via the canoe portage trail on a beautiful sunny day. It was really spectacular, watching planes take off and land from my boat. Anna was very accommodating and responsive to any concerns and requests that I had. We felt very safe and secure in the spot we had. I wouldn't hesitate to come back in the future.
