Located on a 200-acre homestead along the Little Susitna River, this off-grid cabin offers a true Alaskan experience. Complete with potable water, mini fridge and propane fireplace, you'll be cozy and comfortable no matter the season. The Aurora features a crystal clear acrylic ceiling so you can watch the Northern Lights from the comfort of bed. Experience the off-grid lifestyle in the Last Frontier.
The Aurora is an off-grid studio cabin. It's small but mighty, complete with limited electricity and a kitchenette for food prep.
Your cabin is outfitted with two rechargeable lanterns, as well as one overhead light. Three outlets provide access for recharging computers and phones, but we do ask that you limit your electricity use when possible.
The kitchenette features a mini fridge, french press and electric kettle, along with coffee, tea and hot cocoa. Our potable water is accessible via a rechargeable faucet. The Aurora is off grid, so we bring your water in and are happy to provide more if you need it.
Your cabin features a unique acrylic ceiling over the bed, complete with electronic blackout blinds, so you can watch the Northern Lights right from bed.
The Aurora is one of three tiny cabins. You'll share access to the trails, fire pit and outhouse with your neighbors. Your first bundle of wood is on us! Further bundles can be purchased for $5.
There is no bathroom inside your cabin, but the outhouse is only steps away and features a compost toilet. We recommend bringing your lantern with you for light!
As stated above, our property is situated on 200 acres and features five miles of trails that you're free to use! We ask that you stay on trail and stay safe. Please practice Leave No Trace.
Along with guests of the Fireweed and Spruce cabins, you'll share access to a fire pit, the trails and the outhouse. Embrace this unique experience and get to know your fellow travelers.
