Rural Southern Monterey County hilltop with 360° views of the surrounding valley. To the west is an unobstructed view of the Los Padres National forest, sunsets over the coast ridge from Junipero Serra peak to the north and Rocky Butte to the south. To the east is Williams Hill BLM area, with clear views of the sunrise. To the southeast is Lake San Antonio. Nacimiento Lake is a beautiful 45 minute drive to the south. Although the dirt access road can be a little dusty and bumpy for a sports car, in the 35 years I've been here it has always been accessible for a 2 wheel drive vehicle. The property is at the end of the road. No traffic, no noise, only views of the surrounding area. If you are interested in night skies, the milky way is a constant. After winter rains, everything is green and wild flowers are abundant. Stay and enjoy the vistas or travel relatively short distances for hiking in the Los Padres forest, drive CA HWY 1, visit Paso Robles wineries, boat or fish at Lake San Antonio or Lake Nacimiento. Nearby Williams Hill BLM area for hunting, shooting or ATV riding. For hunters and fisherman, Ft Hunter Liggett is to the immediate west. Occasional weekend's be entertained by military training and occasional aircraft, helicopters and planes. It is so quiet that you can hear vehicles passing several miles away on Jolon Rd in the valley below. Visitors travel to Morro bay, Avila beach to the south or Big Sur and Monterey Bay to the north. Motorcycle enthusiasts can enjoy 100's of miles of uncrowded country roads. Host is an avid motorcyclist and will provide enough helpful guidance for all levels of riding. Corbin saddle in Hollister is a great destination for lunch and a custom made seat by appointment. Getaway to the central coast of California and leave the city behind. San Francisco is a bit over 2 hours to the north and LA about 4 hours to the south. Owner has intimate knowledge of way to many destinations.

The Places:
The Dream Catcher is two micro trailers with a large outdoor deck space and cast iron tub in between them. One trailer is sleeping quarters with a mini kitchenette and the other trailer is a full bathroom with shower. The spaces are small and cozy. The views are epic. Overlooking the majestic Paso Robles valley with vineyards with world class views, the spacious deck is the place to be for sunset.
The Tiny House:
A Fairy tale cottage style wooden tiny home built in the 1980's with a bottle wall, full bath, and reading nook. This three story wonder will leave you inspired to step into your own story. Fully equipped with a small kitchen, queen bed, reading nook and two beautiful outdoor decks, you'll feel like you stepped into another world.
The Main Bungalow is a 1970's GEM, built by a movie industry icon with views of the valley through the stunning and huge five windows overlooking the Salinas River. Two bedrooms downstairs and two full baths, accompany a well appointed kitchen. The upstairs loft accommodates two additional semi private queen beds, and additional seating area. Sunrises from the bedrooms are rivaled by few.

Our 42 acres is located at the beginning of the award winning Adelaide Wine trail in Paso Robles.
Our ranch was once home to a horse boarding and breeding ranch which bred Paso Fino horses, known for their beautiful gait.
Having been a horse ranch, it left us with some nice trails that you can enjoy during your stay.
We have some nice uphill walks to view your local surroundings while sitting to enjoy a glass of wine or you morning cup of coffee/tea.
We are on a well out here so at times you may get a sulphur/mineral smell to the water.
Please bring your own drinking/cooking water.
It is safe to shower, my hair feels so much thicker!
On the ranch you will see that we have 2 donkeys, Desi (black) and Lucy (light grey).
Along with our donkeys we have to friendly goats, Fiona (brown) and Sadie (white), they love carrots.
but please stick to one carrot a day each, we don't want to over feed them.
We also have chickens which means have farm fresh eggs. $5 for 1/2 dozen.
Up on the hill you will see Connie a cow and her buddy Samuel, the bull. they love carrots but please do not go into their pasture. She'll think you're bringing food and gets very dangerously excited.
Please feel free to walk the property and become one with nature while observing the local indigenous floral and fauna.

We stayed in the Cabana and it was perfect. Comfortable and rustic. The grounds themselves were so so beautiful. Such a great place to stay. We will definitely be back, honestly can’t wait!

Let this be your sign to just book the dang thing. The entire property is absolutely gorgeous! Host was kind, the shower and shared kitchen were both super clutch, easy to locate and to get to.
One thing to note is the fire pits—they all were taken by families by the time we got back from our day hikes (it is stated clearly that the gazebo doesn’t have a fire pit and the fire pits are communal, however, they weren’t very communal. The ones we saw were located in the camp sites that were occupied by the families in those designated sites). Turned out we didn’t really need a fire bc we were so zonked after all the hiking anyway, but I’m sure we would’ve used it if they were more accessible. Secondly, watch out for poison oak, there were TONS up the trail up towards the gazebo — always bring your headlamp to make sure you don’t brush up against at night!

We really enjoyed staying at our site, not too far from bathrooms and fairly secluded. Room was very neat and set up great. Provided heated blanket was a life saver and perfect. Wish we could have stayed longer to explore the whole camp. Restrooms very clean and private.( they were a little tight ) showers had hot water clean floors. Our spot was a little hard to find without help but we managed after a second loop. Overall great time, would like to revisit and stay a few days.

Weekend Trip to Camp Carmel Valley - Glamping
Beautiful area in a secluded part of Carmel Valley, but still close enough to access Carmel by the Sea for dinner/night out. The amenities were perfect for our small group and everything was well kept. The shower was not only aesthetic, but so refreshing after boondocking it for a few days before our stay. The bed was comfortable, and the firepit was exactly what we needed! I felt very safe in the area, as there was a coded gate leading us onto the property. Most reviews say 4WD needed, but we were able to get by with our AWD subaru forester, and there was another smaller toyota sedan who made it through alright as well. Some small bumps and narrow turns, but nothing crazy! I would definitely stay here again!

What an amazing host! Stephan goes out of his way to make sure your needs are met! He is friendly, warm and committed to you having an amazing stay! His place is awesome! Incredible views!
He recommended we take a trip to the swimming holes in Los Padres National Forest and our family loved it! He knows the area very well and can set you all up! He even brought us chopped wood and made a fire for our family to make s’mores!! What a great host!

Wow, absolutely incredible stay at Stephan's place. Stunning views and night sky, super clean, private and comfortable and the host, Stephan is not only ultra kind and accommodating, his knowledge of this hidden gem of an area, is astounding.

We had a great time in the middle grove canvas tents. Wood-burning fires are not allowed but our specific type tent came with a propane grill and propane fire pit. While the tent was physically close to others, there was a wall between each site which offered privacy. The campus also had cornhole, horseshoes, a basketball court, and a few other options for communal activities. The bathrooms and overall site were clean. I would definitely recommend!

We loved the chalet. It was clean with newer finishes. The bathroom had a spacious shower. The bed upstairs would have been great if we had brought our kids.
The only down side was no place to sit or eat inside. You walked in to your bed. There was one chair in the corner. All the seating was outside on the deck or down below on the patio. Unfortunately, the weather was too cold to sit outside for too long. In the warmer weather it must be nice to have an open deck to sit out on.
The park was clean and sites were spacious. Didn’t feel like you were on top of your neighbors. Also liked that the chalets were spread out. Some campgrounds have them all in a row but mixed with RV sites makes camping in groups accommodating.
There are two clubhouses with pools and hot tubs. The exercise room was fully equipped with great machines and plenty available.

This place was so cute! Very clean and well decorated. Easy to find and the scenery was beautiful. Was a quick 15 min drive from Paso Robles to drop into town for some food and check out some wineries. Our dogs also enjoyed the place for the weekend. My husband is 5’10 and was able to sleep in the bed with the extension comfortably!

Such a scenic place with an amazing host. Stephan was incredibly kind, helpful, and welcoming throughout our stay. He shared so many hidden gem spots nearby that made exploring the area even more special. You can tell he genuinely cares about his guests having a great experience. The space was comfortable, cozy, and had plenty of heating, which made the stay even better. We also loved the fire pit outside, which was perfect for relaxing in the evening. Hands down, we’d come back anytime.

Overall, a really great experience. Highly recommend.
The space felt so much bigger than the trailer, from the deck with chairs to the separate shower and outdoor tub, to the property itself and surrounding area.
I'm 5'10" and slept fine diagonally on that little comfy bed. More than that would be a squeeze.
The kittens were the best of company.
Only complaint was weak wifi and some highway noise (the property sits just above the 101, but facing away from it). Not at all a deal breaker, but worth being aware.
Stay here. You'll love it.
