The Missing Peace Each spot has its own unique features. The look out glamping tent has the best views and it the most secluded. You need an all wheel drive or a 4 by 4 to get up there. The lower bowl tent and the pitch your own tent has the grassy area to chill out on but has Sketchy WIFI. RVs can park has sketchy wifi as well. A short little walk up the road and you will get better wifi. The tent site is in the lower bowl and is beside the lower glamping tent. Pitch it anywhere on the grass and enjoy. This sit is just off the highway so it can be a little noisy with traffic depending on the time. Situated on a mountain plateau overlooking beautiful Anderson Lake there is a rugged beauty to this land. Through a quirk of geography, our land is remote and wild while only being a 3 hour drive from Vancouver. Located at the beginning of the Highline Road popular with adventure seekers, this property is about a 10 minute drive from the Anderson Lake boat launch in D'Arcy. The lake is a fisherman's dream known for its rainbow and bull trout. Paddle boarding, hiking, biking, and motorized sports are among the activities enjoyed in the area. Upon ascending the initial gravel road climb, you will be greeted with fantastic mountain and lake views. Pines, cedars, firs, birch, and aspen make up the forest cover while junipers and wildflowers find their home in the clearings between the trees. Hot during the day and cool at night, the views truly glow just before sunset and then again as the moon rises to cast pale shadows on a land free from light pollution. The property is still under development, so please excuse the mess as we build out our off-grid spa and amenity spaces. Currently we only offer a compost toilet, but stay tuned for a further refined experience that will include access to water, showers, 6 person hammocks, and trails. At this time we do not allow fires due to local fire ban, but CSA approved propane fire pits will soon be available for rent.

On an alluvial fan supporting a wide spectrum of diversity in the transition zone leaving coastal mountain rain forest, on the edge of semi arid. Bordered on the East by the flowing waters of Lakshmi. To the South, historical Portage road and Mars Xing, my neighbours dovetail log cabin, dated 1859 was once known as Johnnies RoadHouse. To the West the flowing waters of Saraswati and beyond the "Labyrinth" of bluffs known as Juniper Ridge rises to the alpine. To the North primary old growth forest housing a web of game trails connecting Birkenhead lake Provincial Park. This land was horse logged in the 50's, a few elder mother trees remain standing. There are many zones and edges. Including eighty year old Douglas Fir, Cedar, Douglas and Vine Maple,Maturing Cherry orchards, thickets of shrubs and herbaceous ones offering flowers and berries to the many birds and bees.In more recent years there has been much terrace work done offering meadows and forested camp spots, along with continued cultivation of perennial and annual foods and medicinals.

Bright stars and open field where you can tuck into the treed edge next to the deers! The moonlight can be as bright as daytime and the stars are quite a sight. The RV sites are for RV's that are self-sufficient without the need for electricity nor water in or out (no dumping and there is no running water nor an outhouse at RV sites). RV's will be parking on grass and the site REQUIRES LEVELLING. We can accommodate vehicles up to 39ft in length. Have your choice of bringing your own tent or using ours! New Glamping Dome Tents with Queen Sized Beds, table and chairs and hammocks including a covered counter for cooking . Unplug and Unwind to the sound of breeze through the trees and romantically flowing water from the nearby creek. There is no cell service or electromagnetic disruption here which makes for a beautiful peaceful mountain retreat. Bring your telescope for the opportunity to see clear, off the grid skies and epic star viewing for the astronomer in you. The bookings are quite private and there is a lot of space between sites. If one of the Dome tents is booked, I block off the other so you'll be the only ones on the whole gravel pad area. There are trees and visual space blocking anyones' view between sites Birkenhead Lake Provincial Park is walkable from our farm and there you can hike, fish, swim, paddle, and more! The road is a gravel road in winter would require 4x4. Otherwise we've seen many EVO cars (Prius Hybrid or fully electric Kia Niro) and even fancy Teslas and BMW sedan's on this road.

A hot shower would have been nice but we were warned before our arrival that it didn't work. We recommend!

Great spot in a quiet, peaceful location with beautiful views to wake up to. We planned to do more but ended up mostly chilling around the cabin (highly recommend the outside daybed!) and walking my dog to the river. Ren was really accommodating for my reactive dog, left the lights on for us as we were arriving late and provided some yummy home grown vegetables. Would love to stay again!

We loved the camping there! The two hosts were super nice people and we ended up chatting quite a while while they showed us around. The campsite is very nice too: the pit toilet has a water bucket to wash hands and soap. Each campsite has a picknick table. There was only one other guest that night, so it was relatively privat. Would absolutely recommend.

Carmen’s campsite, HayLmore, is amazing. There is a washroom with a flush toilet and sink which is kept clean. Behind the bathroom building is a double sink, for dishes, dish soap included. Can and plastic recycling as well as a place for garbage- please keep garbage to a minimum as it’s a regular size garbage bin and there are other campers. We stayed a ponderosa which to me is the most private spot, and I’ll definitely stay there again. We had a 20’ pick-up with slider camper. Molly (the dog) keeps to herself these days as she’s getting a little older, but she still loves pets. Carmen sells her eggs, tomatoes (or veggies of the season too). Thank you Carmen and Molly☺️🙂😎

I love the place , my family enjoyed our stay for 2 nights. The site was very spacious for a big family. Ms. Katie was very accommodating and response quickly to my inquiries. The only thing disappoints us was our fellow campers near the lake, they were not respectful about quiet time they were shouting and singing loud with their loud music until 2am for 2nights. They even had bonfire even if there is a FIRE-BAN during the 2nd night. But over all we enjoyed our stay and will come back again.

We had such an amazing time at Anderson Lake! The Yurt was cozy and comfortable, the outdoor kitchen made cooking so easy and scenic, and the property was absolutely breathtaking! It is totally worth the drive and such a cool way to experience the area! Absolutely book the sauna, and bring your paddle boards if you can! Can’t wait to come back next year! :)

Amazing location and beautiful views! I really loved the covered area since I was tenting it provided great shade during the heat wave. Coming from out of province it was a bonus they offer firewood! Due to the heat wave didn't need alot but the crate was enough for a little fire each night I was there. Hosts were very help! Had a minor issue with a neighbour and their dog being loose and roaming my site. Where my dog is reactive I wanted to avoid any issues and she responded immediately and contact the neighbours which I was very greatful for!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We absolutely loved our stay at Wendego Lodge! The sauna is a must-try — it made swimming so much more enjoyable, especially since the lodge is higher up and evenings can get chilly. (Tip: bring some warm clothes for the night!) The whole experience was so close to nature, peaceful and refreshing. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming, and we have to say — their sourdough bread is delicious, a real treat! We truly enjoyed every moment of our stay and can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend!

Yurt is paused for rentals as we await a new roof! Only the Cabin available for now. Welcome to 28 acres of forests, mountains, creeks, a river and all that comes with it! We live in a little off-grid cabin deep in the Yalakom Valley in a small community of rustic-living and friendly folks. Please note that this property is located 40 km outside of Lillooet. Part of the road is a dirt road and a bit bumpy, best for cars that don't mind roughing it a little bit. You also lose service 5 minutes outside of Lillooet. The property is surrounded by private lots. You can explore ours down to the river or you can drive to other locations like the Horsehoe (a great swim spot), Carpenter Lake (great for swimming, too), Lac La Mere (good for fishing), Carol Lake, and much more. This is a somewhat rustic and rugged spot- if you are looking for fancy glamping this is not the space for you! Vancouverites, you've been warned!

Consider extending your stay to fully unwind and explore everything the area has to offer. A beautiful creek flows right by the campsite, dip your feet in. You can go for walks or nap under the Aspens! Spring note - snow has been melting and the ground is unthawing - please feel free to send me a message if you have any question about the gravel road. It can be muddy and bumpy while the road awaits its winter repairs. We are one hour outside of Kamloops on a maintained public gravel road, however AWD or 4WD recommended during late fall to late spring. We have no minimum stay but highly recommend two nights. Do not use google maps to find our place - it can be very confusing. Google maps may show coming to our property from Savona but the easiest drive is from Kamloops. Please use the directions that get emailed to you just before your stay. To get here head to the Kamloops airport then follow Tranquille Criss Creek Road. We do not recommend traveling this road in the dark if you are not familiar with it! Wonderfully private! Come give our land some love as it recovers from the 2021 Sparks Lake forest fire. Acres and acres to hike, mountain bike and snowshoe. Surrounded by crown land there is no lack of space to explore and easy access to forest service roads to quad and bike. Many lakes near by for fishing and kayaking. Wildlife galore! There are wild flowers and plants so come forage and explore. Disconnect from the busyness of city life! 10 acres of untouched beauty! Extremely private with 100’s of acres of crown land on one side & a neighbour with 10 acres on the other. The lake is Caribbean blueish green & clear as glass. There are miles of trails to hike, 4x4, wild forage, or hunt in season. There are a couple other lakes nearby as well as the Fraser River & the Big Bar Ferry. Highly recommend!! One of our favourites is the Jesmond Fire Lookout. It requires a 4x4 vehicle or physical ability to complete a couple hour hike! We are a bit biased but our place is a very special one of a kind spot!

This is an all-season property: swimming, boating, hiking and quadding in the SUMMER, hunting in the FALL, and ice fishing, snowmobiling (100s of km of trail right from your door) in the WINTER. All year long fish for natural rainbow trout and Kokanee. This is a rustic 100% off-grid experience! There is no electricity in the cabins and cold running water in the summer. SLEEPING: The cabin has two bedrooms separated by curtains from the living space and features: One queenTwo single bunksOne double futon HEATING/COOKING:There is a wood stove for heat and cooking and wood is supplied and cold running water in the summer months. A wood burning BBQ is available for use and a huge upright smoker for your fish haul (bring your own propane cylinder). BATHROOMS: There are no bathrooms in the cabin. Flush toilets and hot showers are available in the wash house steps away in the summer and in the lodge in the other months. ELECTRICITY: The cabins have no electricity. Firewood and water (from the lake) for washing is provided. There is no fridge so you will need to bring a cooler with ice for your perishables. Town is an hour away. CHECK-OUT: Please leave the cabin clean and tidy and pack out all your garbage and left-over food. ACCESS: We are located 50 km down a logging road and we advise access only by 4-wheel drive vehicles although many cars have made it in the summer. In the winter, access is an ice road. Drivable but slippery. We request that you call/email when you hit the gravel road 50 km away so we know when to expect you. You have access to the lodge property, lake, dock, trails, grass area and kayaks/floaties/paddle boards when available. Pets welcome with a $35 per pet per stay fee.
