I moved here from Colorado just to live on a farm. My neighbor's family has owned much of the land around here since the Revolutionary War. My home is the site of their original homestead. They grow watermelons on their acreage surrounding my farm, while I am growing blueberries. The peace and serenity here is something to be experienced!

Enjoy full access to my 4 acre farm in a beautiful valley in the Blue Ridge foothills, 15 minutes from Lake Lure & Chimney Rock; 20 minutes from Tryon Equestrian Center. Also, easy access to Asheville, Hendersonville, and Black Mountain. Plus restaurants are only 5-15 minutes away. Amazingly, you'll also have access to the full bathroom/shower in my lovely home; and full access to all the fresh water you might need. All CDC recommended practices are in place. It has a beautiful fire ring under lovely white pines or green cedars.(please bring your own firewood). In addition, I have a charcoal grill (bring your own charcoal). My only requests are to please remove your shoes when you come in to use the facilities and properly dispose of trash and cigarette butts (please pack out your trash). I look forward to hosting you!! Only 11-13 minutes from beautiful Lake Lure and Chimney Rock, this stunning master bedroom suite has a sumptuous king bed, heat, air, microwave, and mini fridge. It's important to keep in mind that it is a 2 minute walk to the main house for bath, kitchen, laundry. Can sleep up to 4 people if needed with additional double size futon mattress. This luxurious yurt is completely private with deck, patio furniture and gorgeous valley views. BBQ and fire pit available on site. Then be welcomed into the main house every morning for a lazy cup of coffee and homemade muffin. Asheville, Black Mountain, and Hendersonville are all less than an hour away. All CDC recommended practices are in place.

Overall I had a good experience. Unfortunately, there seemed to be someone living full time in a utility box trailer on the property in close proximity where I camped. I didn’t have any issues but it just was unusual and something I would like to know before booking.
