Description

Camping at Lower Campground in Glacial Lakes State Park isn’t a choice, it’s a necessity. Upon immediate arrival to the park, it takes about 2.5 seconds to understand why visitors should stay a couple of days. Located in an area known as the Leaf Hills, a 10 to 19 mile band of glacial hills, Lower Campground sits in a shady bowl of one of America’s more interesting geological settings. If the rolling hills covered in wildflowers doesn’t get you, then perhaps Singaless Lake will. Yup, there’s a lake too, because its awesome. Told ya.
