Day Trip to Schoolhouse Pondexperience$100.00
For $100 per person, party of two, guests will be transported to an off-the-grid cabin for an amazing day of fly fishing on private, gated property, 3.5 miles up on Day Mountain in Avon, ME. Schoolhouse Pond is a spring-fed Brook Trout utopia, written about years ago by local author Bill Roorbach (my college writing Professor) in his novel, "Temple Stream" and wildlife abounds in this special place. Guests can fish, paddle, hike, take photographs, paint, write, nap or play cribbage.. a packed lunch will be provided, or opt for a steak dinner cooked over an open fire with camp fried potatoes, fresh corn on the cob and cold drinks from a YETI. Full use of boats, paddles and life jackets, a dock, outhouse facilities and trails allowed, including access to Day Mountain Pond, just a short walk from my gate. This extra is not to be missed!
