Perfect outdoor get away, right outside of Bayfield. Yurt was perfect - loved making a fire in wood stove and having coffee on the porch. We heard lots of wildlife - owls, coyotes and grouse. Hiked the Meyer’s Beach trail, and saw sea caves. Ate dinner at St James social, had great burgers at Morty’s Pub, mimosas and grilled cheeses at Pier Plaza. Perfect weekend!

We loved our winter adventure in the yurt. We appreciated that we had little to no cell service where we were at(AT&T), had the landline phone in case of emergencies, and that pretty much everything that's needed was provided. Ashley was great in answering a couple questions beforehand, and everything was clean and well cared for. Our kids (3 & 5) absolutely loved the yurt and being there. Highly recommend.

We stayed in the Yurt and loved it!
While there are 2 more sites around, you never saw or heard anyone else. Super private!
Private fire pit with lots of wood, nice outhouse building, wood stove inside kept us nice and worm in chilly temps.
Hosts were very responsive and friendly.
Hope to stay there again! Maybe check out the dome next time 😎

My family and I enjoyed our time in the Yurt very much. It’s super private and secluded but close enough to Bayfield to be convenient. Furnished well to make “camping” easy which is my favorite type of camping. We enjoyed cooking over the camp fire but also used the stove. The outhouse was clean and fairly close to the yurt. Our only wish is that we could have stayed longer, so we may be back!

The yurt was perfect for our family of four. There was plenty of space for all of us and Ashley ensured that every detail was taken care of so we had everything we needed for our stay. Plus - everything was so clean! Such a great gem and so glad we were able to experience it.

Beautiful sunrise in bed! Way to go for glamping. Beautiful and comfy bed, snuggling warm at night. Lots of stars at night. After a day of rain, the tent still completely dry. So much to do nearby and great restaurants. Perfect location between East and west. Next time I will bring a pen to write in the guestbook. Thank you so much for sharing the beautiful property!!!

Super quick walk up to the spot, wonderful time here. Nice amenities and there was fire wood available too, which was perfect for a night time fire to watch the stars .

We loved staying in the Twisted Twig yurt!! We were there for 6 days. Bathed in the lake. Brought battery operated fans. Traveled to many near by areas for day trips. There’s an artisan well in Cornucopia we filled our water jug with when we ran out. Outhouse was great. Can’t wait to come back!! Ashley, thanks to you and your family for sharing your beautiful property.

Ashley’s geodesic dome is a peaceful and secluded hideaway yet easy to find. It is surrounded by woods and wildflowers greet you as you follow the path to the door.
The bed is one of the most comfortable in which I’ve slept!

The dome was a beautiful little escape! If you're visiting in summer, I would recommend bringing a battery-powered fan. The dome has windows and a vent at the top, but it does heat up considerably in the sun. Other than that, the furniture and decor gave a great ambiance and the wildflowers surrounding the area are magical.

The yurt was in a pretty, secluded spot and near to its own composting toilet/outhouse. Mosquitoes were bad this year with all the rain so it was nice to have a yurt vs. a tent. Kids enjoyed the loft. Close to a nice beach on the lake, and there were no mosquitoes at the lake front.

It is a great glamming tent. It is spacious and clean. It is very secluded. The location is excellent for Meyers Beach and Bayfield.

We had such a lovely stay on Ashley's land. The area was quiet and the yurt was beautiful. The outhouse was extremely clean and one of the nicest I have ever used. My 2.5 year old loved being able to run around outside and make s'mores over the fire. Our infant just enjoyed being there and looking at all the trees and looking up at the dome inside the yurt! We definitely recommend family visits here!

It was a very peaceful stay! My boyfriend and I enjoyed getting away from everyday life and enjoying nature. This was made easy by staying at the Geodesic Dome and seeing the Northern Lights straight from our bed, to the waves hitting the shore of Meyer's Beach. 10/10 recommend for any couple!

This place was amazing!! The yurt was clean and had everything you needed easily available. From sitting by the fire place to gazing at the stars from inside laying in bed. Great location! Close to Bayfield and many fun things to do. Quiet and comfortable surrounded by nature. Very unique accommodations with everything you need to have a great stay.

My first time in a wall tent. A rainy fall night was chilly, but the woods stove helped, needs to add firewood during middle of night though. It is very clean inside, being well treated like in a hotel room. Great experience!

Ashley and Rob have thought of everything one needs to live comfortably and in peace off grid in their beautiful orchard. I was impressed with how clean everything was. The wood burning stove was awesome on a cool and rainy evening.
The description and pictures give an accurate depiction but it’s even cuter in real life.
We had stormy weather so were unable to explore as much as we wanted so hoping maybe we can return next year.

We didnt get the opportunity to explore like we wanted do to the heat wave. But when i reached out about beaches and water access they had answered and that water dip helped out so much! Loved the feel of the dome and the available bathrooms. I personally liked the little wagon they had next to it for firewood carrying and bag transportation

The dome was stocked perfectly with everything we needed. It was clean, cozy and we were greeted with wild flowers on the table. It was a cloudy night but once in awhile the stars would shine through. We really enjoyed watching a chipmunk that seemed to be living in an abandoned wasp nest. The nest would shake and then the chipmunk would pop out the top with his cheeks full.

My husband and I really enjoyed our peaceful overnight in the dome at Twisting Twig. Ashley and Rob have put together a great getaway place. The farm is quiet. We heard an owl and frogs at night. We slept well and woke up calm and refreshed. The amenities were just enough to be simple yet have all the bases covered. We would stay here again.
