Unplug and unwind in our cozy glamping cabin nestled in the hills of Ontario, in the heart of the Driftless. Wake up to rolling bluffs, spend your days exploring nearby state parks and winding country roads, and end the night under a sky full of stars by the fire. Our cabin is perfect for couples, solo travelers, anglers, kayakers, and anyone looking for a peaceful escape in one of Wisconsin's most scenic regions. This is glamping done right—comfortable, but still connected to the outdoors. Please note: this is an off-grid-style stay designed for guests who enjoy nature and simplicity. The cabin has electricity, heat, and air conditioning, but there is no running water or shower.Perched high on a scenic ridge in the heart of Wisconsin’s Driftless Region, our cozy cabin near Ontario offers a peaceful escape surrounded by rolling hills, winding valleys, and endless sky. Tucked into nature yet close to the Kickapoo River, Wildcat Mountain State Park, hiking trails, trout streams, and charming small towns, this is the perfect basecamp for adventure or a quiet weekend to unplug. Wake up to ridge-top sunrises, spend your days exploring the beauty of the Driftless, and unwind around the fire under some of the darkest star-filled skies in the Midwest. Whether you’re here to kayak the Kickapoo, hike the bluffs, fish cold-water streams, or simply slow down and relax, this cabin was made for reconnecting with nature. Guests will enjoy a private and scenic campsite with a glamping-type cabin and modern rustic outhouse. There is a queen bed in the cabin, along with a couch, countertop space, coffee maker, games, books and more! The cabin also has AC and heat. Please note, there is no running water or showers on the property. However, there are free showers open during the summer months in the Ontario Community Pavilion. We also have a fire pit (with chairs and a cooking grate), a hammock, and a gas grill available for guests to enjoy.
