The Guinea farm is 18 acres of field and forest on the rural middle peninsula. Only 1 mile from 2 separate secluded dog friendly beaches and a boat launch. There is very little traffic or light pollution here, nature is at your fingertips. Come visit the farm and experience agritourism at it's finest. Pick your own veggies in the community garden and meet the Guinea fowl! Enjoy the wilderness and learn about the local ecosystem here on the middle peninsula. There are 3 sites spaced out across the 18 acres set apart for privacy. Wisteria Treehouse site closer to the entrance gate. Trilogy Micro Cabinz is in the pines 700' beyond that and separated by dense forest. Stargazer Tiny cabin is an off grid rustic camping cabin on the back side of the property. Each site is surrounded by several acres of forest and close to the edge of a large field. There are roaming guinea fowl that may come make a very loud appearance as they canvas the property eating bugs. Deer, Turkeys, Bald Eagles, foxes, and other wildlife are common guests also. Mid-summer is what I call frog season, Tree frogs are abundant and provide a wonderful soundtrack. There is an axe throwing board and cornhole boards available. 4 miles from shopping and dining in Mathews Virginia, 15 miles to Gwynn Island. Gwynn's Island is an island located in the Chesapeake Bay off of Virginia's Middle Peninsula. The island is located in the northeast part of Mathews County, south of the mouth of the Piankatank River. It is connected to the rest of the county by a swing bridge over Milford Haven.

All the nature of camping without the hassle of bringing all the gear. Rest assured that if the weather goes sideways you are off the ground and under a roof. Packing up wet tents isn't an issue in this secluded campsite with 2 Micro Cabin camping shelters. The A-frame cabin is outfitted with 3 camping cots and a clear plastic roof. The Square cabin has a twin over full bunk bed with very comfortable full/twin camp pads. There are also 2 rocker camping chairs for use in or out of the cabin. There is a gravity shower, picnic table, and firepit in the site. The porta potty is located a modest walk from the site and is shared with Wisteria Treehouse. This site has a large firepit and a semi-private outdoor shower. The site is 1 mile drive to 2 separate secluded beaches and a boat launch. Wisteria Treehouse is an elevated camping structure designed to imerse you in nature. The lower deck hosts a 13' bell tent with cots and camp matresses. Being off the ground keeps the tent drier and invites a nice breeze. The Treehouse itself is a renovated hunting blind turned into a sheltered spot relax and take in the view. The porch has a grill and griddle for cooking your favorite camping dishes. Inside you can charge you phone, connect to the wifi, watch a movie, or Race Mario Kart on the 12V powered N64. The walls are insulated and the teehouse has a Small Mr. Buddy propane heater inside. The bell tent has 4 cots with camp matresses and an additional 2 cots stored in the treehouse. The tent sleeps 6-8 without cots or 4-5 on cots. Guests are welcome to pitch their own tents and/or move the cots around as they like. The treehouse is located on a 2.5 acre lot of wisteria covered trees with a 3/4 acre clearing. There is a gravity fed shower is located behind the treehouse and the porta potty is 150 foot walk. Bring your own sleeping bags, coolers, and camping cooking gear. Enjoy being surrounded by acres of forest hearing only the wind in the trees and chirping of birds. Secluded Treehouse camp hidden in wisteria covered trees 1 mile (by dead end road)from 2 separate beaches on the bay. Enjoy relaxing in the the quite solitude of nature while being 2-3 minutes from secluded beaches. The site has an outdoor gravity fed shower and faucet/improvised sink. The water is not considered potable for humans but is fine for washing and watering dogs. Both beaches and all of my property are dog freindly, let the doggies have a vacation also!

The cabin has solar, well, a shower, composting bathroom, and Wifi! Enjoy being immersed in nature while staying comfortable in a quirky cabin built from local and reclaimed materials. Perched over the kitchen the loft sports a full-sized bed. USB outlets are available for all your charging needs. The clear roof provides stargazing from the comfort of the bed. The living room has a double adult-sized cot/bunkbed that transforms into a couch. Chill on the couch and stream a movie from the mini-projector and warm up by the wood stove. The living room has ample USB charging, lights, and the solar controller is built into a working retro gaming cabinet. It's truly a cozy space to recharge after a long day at the beach. The kitchen has a gas cooktop, sink, propane heater, drinking water cooler, small fridge, and dinner table. The screened windows and clear storm shutters keep nature at your fingertips in any weather. Work remotely? I got you with wifi and 110v outlets near the kitchen table. Go ahead and make your co-workers jealous with a beautiful Zoom background. Outside the cabin, you will find a shower and composting toilet built from locally sawn pine. A hand-dug well and solar pump feeds the gravity tank providing water for the shower. A propane on-demand water heater will provide a hot enough shower to cancel out those cold mornings. Next to the cabin is a fire pit tucked in the woods for secluded smores or burnt weiners. Or scamper out in the field and use the larger fire pit under the stars. sleeps 4-5 comfortably, additional guests my need to pitch a tent. (tents available on request) Not recommended for people with mobility issues. Please note, this is a small rustic off-grid camping structure on the edge of an untamed forest. The refrigerator is a high effeciency powered cooler and has the capacity of a minifridge. An additional beverage cooler is recomended for larger/thirsty groups (loaner available). The forest contains everything that likes to live in forests. It is very likely that a frog or spider will be hanging with you in the bathhouse.

Contact me for info about group events, Large groups, family gatherings, club meetings, escapes, or other activities. This listing is only available on nights that have no other current bookings. Booking the entire property allows for larger crowds or activities without guests outside of your party around. The 3 sites are spaced out 16 of my 18 acres and all 16 acres are included in this option. Unconventional gatherings and special requests considered, feel free to reach out!

Wisteria Treehouse
What a beautiful treehouse! There was space to play frisbee, an area set up with cornhole and axe-throwing, beach nearby, and of course the bird farm. This was a great spot to discover, especially with three little kids in tow! Love that the campsite had a tent already sent up, AND had cots inside! The projector was an awesome bonus too.

Ian was a gracious and flexible host! The stargazer cabin was a delightful place to stay. My son loved meeting the chickens, turkeys, and guinea fowls. Would definitely recommend!

Very flexible accommodations; perfect for families with kids of multiple ages. It was great for part of our part to be able to camp next to the cabin. The birds are very fun, and super curious (came right up to the cabin area).

The treehouse was beautiful. We liked finding all the hidden little secrets to it, the stove, and the projector were nice too. When we went the bugs and the weather weren’t too bad either. the beach was great and mostly empty, and we loved the armload firewood challenge and chicken tour. Ian was a great host and was always responsive and flexible with scheduling. 10/10 don’t think anything could’ve been better.

My wife, kids, sister, and I had a wonderful stay at Ian’s Stargazer Tiny Cabin. The location was fantastic—just steps from the beach, which made it perfect for our family. One of the highlights for our kids was meeting all of Ian’s birds and animals. Ian was incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and generous with his time, giving us a tour and sharing information about each animal. It was such a unique and memorable experience. Throughout our stay, Ian was responsive, welcoming, and available whenever we had questions. His hospitality really made us feel at home. We would absolutely recommend this stay to friends and family and would love to visit again!

Stargazer Tiny Cabin
We have stayed at quite a few Airbnb and Hipcamps and Stargazer exceeded all our expectations!!!! It was perfect. Great off grid experience but still felt pampered. Lights, WiFi running water, hot shower, little fridge, and a well stocked kitchen to cook in. The bunk “cots” sofa combo were very comfortable and convenient. The bed was super comfortable and soft sheets and comfortable pillows were an added bonus. The cabin was tucked under the canopy of trees at the edge of the woods and stayed cool in the high 80’s and the fans made it even better. Cool evenings allowed us to enjoy the fire pit. The stars were amazing! We loved sitting out in the field in front of the cabin and gazing up at the night sky. So many shooting stars, satellites zooming by and constellations that you usually can’t see with the naked eye. Ian was so kind and accommodating. He gave a great tour of the guinea hens, chickens, his breeding program and we even had a baby duck cuddle. The entire property was so well taken care of, his hard work and love of what he does shows. We loved the guinea hens and their quirky personalities. One male would come by and give our van a quite vocal talking to trying to put it in its place each mornings. The girls would wander by eating the bugs and ticks (gotta love that!). Our dog Sasha found them quite interesting but they didn’t seem phased by her until she barked and they “barked” back. Highly recommend Stargazer!

My group absolutely loved the Wisteria Treehouse. The treehouse and tent were both super clean and spacious. We comfortably slept 6 in the tent using the provided cots. Ian was a very kind and responsive host!

We absolutely loved staying at Ian’s farm. He was so responsive to messages and so kind and patient with the children, spending ages introducing them to his birds and letting them hold the baby chicks. There were exciting woods for them to explore - a cool grilling area, and fun extras like axe throwing. The Stargazer cabin was very small but cute and we set up tents which made it work well. Even on a rainy weekend we loved it!

Therapeutic Screams farm was the perfect getaway for our Memorial Day group. We stayed at the micro cabins spot which was secluded from the other campsites. There is a short walk to the portable toilets but it is well maintained. Our group had so much fun holding and learning about the chickens with the host Ian. The property has good cell service and multiple secluded beaches just a few minutes down the road. Would love to stay here again and try other campsites.

Watch my overnight stay on my YouTube channel @1perspective123 I’m a returning camper here. First time staying in the microcabin. It comes with a bunk bed and chairs. Cabin is completely screened it. The site offers a 2nd A-Frame cabin with cots. There is a picnic table on site plus a fire pit. Campsite is secluded and surrounded by woods. The host Ian is very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. If you’re looking for a nice spot only mile or so from both Aaron’s Beach and Haven Beach, you found it. Highly recommend and I will be back in the future. Also site is 2WD accessible.

This was the perfect little get away! The house had all the necessities while still feeling like you are on a camping trip. Ian was extremely nice and helpful, and even let us meet his birds! The house is not far from two different beaches and there is a very nice lake to hike and fish at only 30 minutes away.

I really enjoyed staying in Trilogy Micro Cabins. Ian the host is super accommodating and allowed me charge up my power bank at one the other sites. Each one of the sites has a unique personality to it. I liked how the one I stayed at reminded me of summer camp when I was a kid. The Guenie hens are a fun touch, they are like a free roaming neighbor that shows up and entertains you. I was there on rainy day and the cabin I was in was great. I just riled over and kept on sleeping. Closely located to Matthews and convenient. There are throwing axes and corn hole boards. I even enjoyed the rainwater shower. All in all, just a great fishing trip.

Great time!! Even had some rain and got to enjoy the clear roof! Felt very secluded and perfect for our dogs and cat! :) The outdoor shower was also surprisingly pleasant! :) would 100% go again. Great host! (Stairs were a bit steep so just be careful with pups, but we made it work.)

We loved the private plot with access to common grounds. The kids absolutely loved visiting the farm and would often ask to go see the zombies. The beach was beautiful , and we even were able to walk to it without fear of traffic :) thank you!!!!

We truly enjoyed this property. Ian messaged and said we could arrive early and we felt very at home. We got to see the Guinea Fowl, Turkeys, Chickens and the baby chicks! The kids loved being able to roam and explore. The solar power Ian has set up made it easy to charge items and have lights for night time visibility. He truly has poured his heart and soul into building a one of a kind camping experience. We will return for sure!

I took my two boys to this gorgeous piece of Heaven. Wisteria blooming everywhere, accommodations were so dreamy! Ian the host is so friendly & took the time to educate my boys on his farm. They held chicks that had just hatched. Beach nearby. Couldn’t have asked for a more gorgeous camping getaway. We will definitely be back! Stayed in the tree house. Dreamy for little boys.

Beautiful farm and thoughtfully-provisioned accommodations. This place has it all! We got to see all three shelters and each was well-constructed, comfortable, fun, and made it easy for longer-term stays without having to pack up the car. The guinea fowl are a riot and the chickens are really fun for the kids. Having two wide open beaches within a short walk, close access to s grocery store, and fantastic stargazing made this the perfect balance of nature and convenience. Ian is a welcoming host! We will be back!

The Wisteria Treehouse is a magical place. Both adults and children loved it. Not only is it super cool to camp in a treehouse but it's also beautifully built too. The upper treehouse looks like a ships hold with portholes and everything The site had everything we needed and the proximity to the beach was great. Ian was super helpful and brought us a propane tank when we ran out of gas for the camp stove. Thanks for the great stay!
