It’s the perfect, authentic basecamp for AT hikers, stargazers, and traditional campers who want true peace and privacy right near the river. Option 2: The Riverside Canvas Tent (Glamping Setup)Escape to your peaceful riverside retreat! Offering amazing tubing, swimming, and fishing, this ready-to-go canvas tent gives you a quiet nature getaway without completely roughing it. Perfect for AT hikers and visiting families. Inside: A cozy bed, portable power station, and a propane heater to stay perfectly warm on chilly Vermont nights. Outside: Relax by your private fire pit and BBQ area (firewood available on-site) or play a game of cornhole. Location: 10 minutes to White River Junction, 25 minutes to Woodstock and Dartmouth. Shared Spaces & Property Details The Space: Our property sits on a beautiful, expansive piece of Vermont land, tucked away enough to give a true sense of privacy. Relax to the gentle sounds of the river nearby or enjoy plenty of open grass to stretch out, play outdoor games, and watch the occasional train pass by. It's the perfect spot to unwind at night and watch the stars. Guest Access & Amenities: There is a total of 5 beautiful acres to explore—please make yourself at home! You'll have full access to the lawn. For guests planning longer stays, a washer and dryer are available for your convenience. Feel free to use the K-Cup machine, mini-fridge, and pellet smoker located on our shared deck—perfect for your morning coffee or an evening BBQ. What to Pack: We gladly supply all fresh linens, towels, and dinnerware for the canvas tent! To make your stay as seamless as possible, please remember to bring your own food, beverages, and personal amenities (shampoo, body wash, bug spray, etc.).
