Just a relatively flat plot of land in Study Butte, near Terlingua. Close to everything, especially the National Park. Super easy to get to, a quarter mile of two wheel drive easy gravel road from the highway. Just minutes to food, grocery, showers, toilets, gas, etc... Not the most beautiful spot, neighbors in sorta run down houses, but there are $150 rental cabins a block away,. A great place to book up for a group of friends. I take 15 to 20 buddies each March. Please note there are no toilets or showers on site, but 24 hour free toilets and $3 pay showers are only a 2 minute drive away at Big Bend Resort and Adventures.

Great group camping spot. Up to 4 vehicles, 16 people. The location is amazing. 1 minute off the main highway in Study Butte. This is about the closest you can camp to the national Park. Bring your group of friends and park in a circle around the grill and relax! Exactly Here: Cut Paste to google maps 29.3372023, -103.5391588 Less than one mile to 24 hour toilets and $3 pay showers, and gas station. Five miles to the National Park entrance. Five miles to the Terlingua Ghost Town. Two minutes to the grocery store. I camp here in my adventure van every time I go to Terlingua. It is close to everything I want to do, Santa Elena Canyon, Chisos Mountains, The Front Porch and Starlight, La Kiva, Chili Pepper, Posado Milagro, offroad trails, Terlingua Ranch, etc... The ugly part is that there are houses and trailers around me. A rooster. A pesky dog reported to pee on car tires. But few people. Its quiet. Your generator might be the loudest thing in the neighborhood. I just look over the roofs at the mountain views in 4 directions and remind myself to smile a huge smile. I'm in Terlingua again! My spot is a fairly flat 140 by 180 foot lot. It has a flat road on the south, and a driveway splitting it in two. We usually park in a circle and set up camp inside. There is no firewood, no toilet, no outhouse, no water. But there is the amazing Bee Mountain looming just over your shoulder. And every activity you can imagine all close by. And you absolutely WILL NOT NEED 4 WHEEL DRIVE! Any regular commuter car can easily drive the roads. You are at the right spot when you see the ambulance made into a camper trailer!
