Enjoy the peaceful surroundings with abundant wildlife—deer, birds, and even bats at night add to the charm. Come to kayak or fish the Caney, or hunt for an additional fee of $100 per hunter per day. You're just a short drive from Center Hill Lake, Edgar Evins, prime fishing on the Caney Fork River, and several breathtaking waterfalls like Burgess Falls and Cummins Falls within 30-45 minutes. It's a slice of nature waiting for you.

Sleep among the trees in a cozy A-frame treehouse on 52 private acres near the Caney Fork River and Center Hill Lake. This is a simple, rustic place to unplug and enjoy the woods. The A-frame has two twin beds, a private fire pit, hammock-friendly trees, a propane cooktop, coffee supplies, and a propane heater for cool nights. Bring your fishing gear, kayak, boat, hiking shoes, or simply a good book. There's plenty of parking for boats and adventure gear, and you're close to the river, lake, boat ramps, and several waterfalls. This is intentionally primitive: there is no indoor bathroom, kitchen, or Wi-Fi. A private outdoor Dometic camp toilet and primitive outdoor shower are provided nearby. Most phones have cell service. Because you're staying in the woods, expect bugs, birds, wildlife, and the sounds of rain on the tin roof. If you're looking for a traditional cabin with modern amenities, this isn't it. If you're looking for a comfortable bed, a campfire, and a peaceful place to reconnect with nature, you've found it. Escape to 52 private acres of cedar forest near the Caney Fork River and Center Hill Lake. This cozy 344 sq ft off-grid cabin is a comfortable basecamp for hunting, fishing, boating, or relaxing. Enjoy a queen bed, futon, sleeping loft, spacious deck, fire pit, rainwater-fed running water, private shower, composting toilet, and camp kitchen. Limited solar power provides lights, fans, and device charging. Hunting is available during legal Tennessee seasons with advance approval. Hunting is available on the back 28 acres by advance arrangement only. Guests who wish to hunt must notify us before arrival. We will meet hunters at the property, review the hunting boundaries and property rules, and require a signed hunting waiver before hunting access is granted.

Loved staying at the A-Frame! Bring your rechargeable or don’t! This was the perfect base camp for my weekend of hiking. I will definitely book again when in the area.

We really enjoyed our stay here. It is such a peaceful spot. The cabin was well stocked for an off grid camp. Coffee, plates and cups were all provided. It is a bit of a hike from the parking lot but nothing too intense.

Caney Fork A-Frame Treehouse on 52 Acres
My pup and I had a wonderful stay on Ashley’s land. The A-frame was perfectly placed in the woods and after a mini hike to it, we settled in and enjoyed nature’s sounds and peace. Would definitely recommend a visit. Do pack light though as its a small hike up to camp. I had a small bag, pup pack and a cooler and broke a good sweat to get to it. Will for sure return next time I’m in town!
