Our unique location is close to Bend city limits and right next to Horse Ridge Mountain Biking Trails. BLM land surrounds the area, and is even accessible from the upper part of our property. Come out and enjoy the high desert and explore the juniper forest. We have tent camping sites and one tipi. We are currently in the process of still building out our glamping pods. However in the mean time you can currently book a stay at those sites for tent camping. The tent sites offer a comfortable setting for your tent in the sandy dirt. Each site includes a large picnic table and a fire pit. **We offer firewood bundles for sale for $5 in the community area** We have a small community area, there you will find a small outdoor kitchen with a large blackstone, small bbq and little cooking/eating utensils. (We have no water or electricity on-site) This is also where the trash bins are located. We have a basketball hoop, yoga deck, and pull up /hanging bars. Next to the community area is where you will also find the bathroom, which is a clean porta potty. Come enjoy wandering the juniper forest and sage brush in Central Oregon’s high desert. We are next to 100’s of acres of BLM land, including the Horse Ridge Mountain Biking Trail System. There is hiking, biking, horse trails and ATV trails all nearby. Our open skies are great for daydreaming and stargazing. Come see how bright the milky way is out here Sage Ridge. Sage Ridge is only 15 miles east of Bend right off of Hwy 20.

This site is located centrally on the property, closest to the bathroom and community area. It is one of the larger developed sites with plenty of options on where to pitch a tent or invite more to join you. Don't forget to bring your hammock, there are a couple trees that have offer the perfect set up. Please do not use, or damage the ghost trees. Always use caution and protect the ghost trees on this site and around the property please. There are porta potties near the community area. Enjoy wandering the juniper desert on hundreds of acres of BLM land or stargazing under our dark skies. CAUTION: **Two cars allowed at this site. Parked front to back not side to side. Also no vehicles are allowed between the ghost trees. **Stay on developed road/ parking spots! The dirt is very soft and sandy even 4-wheel drive vehicles can get stuck!

Our unique tipi has been locally made and hand painted by us. Inside we provide two twin mattress pads, a cot. Bedding is NOT included. As well as 2 lanterns. **There is also a propane fire pit for RENT ($25) to use as well if you would like. you can pay cash or venmo. **We request no wood burning fires inside at this time. This site also includes a large picnic table and an outside fire pit. There is also a smaller table behind the tipi for a place to enjoy the sunset. There are porta potties near the community area. Sage Ridge was an amazing place to camp. It was right off the highway, while still feeling quiet and remote. Easy access to Bend and an all around great stay. The campground had everything you could need, fire pits, firewood, a cute community area, a friendly camp kitty, and a clean toilet. But, the best part were the hosts, Tim and Sandy. These people are salt of the earth people!! We woke up to a dead van battery and were unable to get anywhere. Tim and Sandy stopped what they were doing to help us out. This included bringing their generator down and trying to get the van batteries up and running. He even made coffee for us while we waited. When the generator didn't work, Tim helped us get the batteries out and drove us into town to buy new ones. He then helped replace them. All in all, it took the entire morning and Tim put on hold whatever he had to get done to help us out and get us back on the road. Truly, truly appreciated the time and lending hand. If you are ever looking for camping near Bend, look no further! We will certainly be back if ever in the area.

Cozy and Peaceful Off-Grid Stay

Overall, we had a very good experience here. The tent was cozy, spacious, and comfortable, and the campsite had a nice fire pit and a peaceful atmosphere. The location and directions were very accurate, so the site was easy to find. Check-in was self-service, and everything went smoothly even though we did not meet the hosts, possibly because we arrived later in the day. There was a slight unpleasant smell outside the tent, although there was no smell inside at all. I am not sure whether it came from the natural desert surroundings or something near the campsite, but it did not affect the comfort of the tent itself. Guests should also be aware that this is a fully off-grid site, with no electricity or running water, so it is best to come prepared. Aside from those things, everything was great. We enjoyed the spacious tent, quiet setting, and overall experience, and we would recommend this place to others looking for a peaceful off-grid stay.

We had a great time staying at Sage Ridge. The common area was fantastic, the sites were well spaced out and thoughtfully developed, and the high desert scenery was beautiful. Our son absolutely loved all the lizards and spent a good chunk of the trip looking for them.

An absolute wonderful place to stay!! You are close enough to Bend to be able to head into town for food or groceries or whatever else you may need! You are right off of Hwy 20 so there is some traffic noise but it wasn’t bothersome at all. Quiet and beautiful at night! They have created a wonderful little space to stay in! We stayed at the Ghost Tree spot and I personally think it was the best situated spot, but all the other spaces looked great too and well spaced apart. Would HIGHLY recommend and will definitely be back in the future! Pistachio and I thank you!

It's great, minimalistic. We were up at 6:30 am because the sun is so bright and warm. But it is what it is, being the desert. They take care of what they have and you can see they care and want to do more. Really neat place.

It's a lovely spot, with tons of room between sites. With there only being a few sites, it keep things incredibly chill and quiet. It's quite close to the highway so you hear a bit of that, but overall it was such a great place to camp for the night.

Tipi on Coyote Hill
What a privilege it was to stay on Sandy & Tim’s land. A beautiful space that is well cared for- the love of/for the land is palpable. I was greeted by the happiest little cat I’ve ever met. It was my first time camping solo- the warm welcome was SO appreciated. I brought my dog and went for the tipi. The tipi had a propane fireplace available, a cot and 2 sleeping mats! (Sarah/Tim informed me about the evening temps) It was freezing, but I was prepared for it. Having the propane fireplace available, if I couldn’t take the cold brought relief. I felt so safe on Sandy/Tim’s property. There was a communal area, and a few other camp grounds. There is one road, it’s so secluded. Awe inspiring landscape. They had wood available so I sat with my pup by the fire on our last night. The stars were amazing. It was so peaceful. Thank you for sharing your space.

Sage Ridge is a great spot, located centrally with access to hikes and mountain biking. The amenities are nice and campsites spaced at a respective distance from each other. After a long day of hiking I appreciated the workout space where I could stretch and relax. Thank you!

Beautiful landscape and thoughtfully laid out campground. It was a bit chilly in late March, so the fire pits were handy. I brought my own firewood but they do have some on site for purchase. There is also a very sweet cat that greeted me throughout my trip. I’d come back!

It was so fun. My friends and I need a place to stay last minute. We stayed at the Tipi and it had such sweet vibes. The local cat came and spent the night off and on with us. It was super clean, and just a cool little area.

This is a lovely camping site with very nice hosts. The camp cat is very curious and friendly and came up to say hi during our stay. It’s also a well laid out site and we enjoyed the site, even one our weather filled night, and we’d love to check it out in another season. :)

Great camping spot! We showed up on a whim, booked a site, and had a nice night camping! The stars are mind blowing. The area is pretty sandy though, so be prepared for some cleanup afterwards. There was also a verrrry friendly kitty that came to say hi (and tried to go home with us) which added some fun to the evening.

This site was easy to access from the highway. Maybe too easy since we could hear the cars and trucks from the highway, but it was not an overwhelming noise. Otherwise very clean, quiet, and just as the description said. There were only two other campers, I think, so no problems with the toilet capacity.
