My wife and I have 7 acre property and on the end away from our home is large level gravel area for your RV we’ve had RV’s up to 30 feet. WE HAVE NEW ASPHALT PLEASE ROLL FORWARD OR BACKWARDS YOUR TIRES BEFORE TUNING YOUR WHEEL. OTHERWISE YOU WILL BE DAMAGING THE DRIVEWAY. PLEASE, LET US KNOW WHEN YOU ARRIVE - I WILL HELP YOU PARK YOUR TRAILER! We have a fresh water hookup as well as one 110 extension power cable. If you request to use them. There is large grassy area for a tent or games. We also provide a picnic table that can accommodate 8 people. No sewer hookup and no dump station - sorry. Also, there are no camp fires allowed, the setting is heavily wooded and the fire danger is too high. Propane based cooking stoves are fine to use outside. Dogies are welcome and need to be on a lead 100% of the time if outside. We are located 10 minutes from Hillsboro, 30 minutes from downtown Portland, 5 minutes to North Plains and 3 minutes to two wineries - Helvetia Winery and Eagles Nest Winery. We like things chill and would love to have you enjoy is special setting.Site 1 is a flat RV parking pad on 60’ by 50’ adjoining a grassy area with picnic table that is approximately 20’ by 30’ adjacent to wooded area. No sewer hook up. 110 v cable to electricity. You can connect potable water. No campfire -

It was a lovely and peaceful spot. I will say there isn't much to "do" at this location past where you're parked (aka places to walk to or hang out), but as long as you have a self-contained rig, you'll be all set.

Big cedars!!!

30 ft travel trailer

Really beautiful place. Great instructions. Owner had issue with electric, but was communicative and even offered a discount. So, I can’t complain. Overall a great lil two night escape. 30’ travel trailer fit just fine, just be sure to listen to instructions.

What a fantastic location! Very peaceful and private. We stayed here for 2 nights and it was amazing. Sit outside and enjoy the trees and the meandering deer as they come thru the yard. Fantastic directions and instructions. Thanks and we will be staying again if we are in the area.

Cozy little hideaway close to city

Cozy little spot only 30 minutes from the city. Backs up right against a wooded area and feels secluded enough to be comfortable. Stopped on our way through to the Oregon Coast and would definitely come back.

Shawn met me on arrival, helped me position my rv on the site and get hooked up with electricity and water. Clean, level, attractive camp site. Directions accurate and easy to follow. Beautiful property, friendly and welcoming host, would highly recommend and would book again!

This is a lovely, tree-filled area close enough to city life for good food and activities, but quiet enough to hear the birds sing and chirp. The area is clean and well maintained. Shawn is very kind and responsive. Highly recommend!

This property is PRISTINE. The site was very private and picturesque. It is out “in the country,” yet close to town, if you desire. The Helvetia Market, just a few miles away, provides local, organic produce, meat, and other products. Shawn and his wife were so gracious, and always available, if we needed anything. Five Star For sure!!! Highly recommend.

Very great place to stay, a little secluded spot on a nice area of land you can walk around. Owner Shawn brought us some fresh lavender, eggs, and squash from his farm. Very kind and worked with us on our short notice to stay there. Beautiful place! 10/10 recommend staying at this location!

Beautiful, quiet, private and safe

Shawn is a very generous and gracious host. He is very welcoming and he provides excellent directions with pictures. The pad is level gravel surrounded by trees and there was plenty of room to maneuver our 20 foot trailer into position. We stayed one night and would definitely stay there again when visiting the Portland area.

We had a great stay at the Helvetia Hideaway. Shawn is an awesome host! Very friendly, helpful and communicative.. Provided great directions. The site itself was lovely. Out in the country, nestled at the edge of the woods. Very quiet. Birds chirping, deer meandering, starry skies. The site was nice and graveled and wide. Shawn even provided us with a couple yard games to play and his wife brought some kids books down for our like ones. Was a great home base for our northwest adventures. We’d definitely go back. Thanks Shawn!

Had a nice night amongst large cedar trees. Spacious property in a nice rural area, the campsite is fairly private and located a good distance from the home. Shawn, the host, rolled along with our changing plans and late arrival time, and was pleasant to meet with in the morning. We tent camped on the lawn, which is on a slight hill, but comfortable and flat enough. We’re self contained with our own toilet - this is a requirement here, no onsite facilities. Was the perfect spot to dry out after a rainy Washington day. Plentiful shade in the morning, big gravel parking area with a sturdy plastic picnic table. Was able to fill a water jug for the road, and they do have limited power available from an extension cord.
