Access to the Bruce Trail is available in several locations nearby as well as in Stokes Bay.

Hello, I am very disappointed with my recent stay. I booked this trip for a relaxing family vacation, but unfortunately, it was ruined due to several issues. The BBQ provided with our cabin was dirty and not working. We had already prepared and brought marinated food specifically for the BBQ, but despite reporting the issue immediately, no replacement was provided during our entire stay. Instead, we were told to use the BBQ at another cabin, which was inconvenient and uncomfortable, especially with our 4-year-old daughter. As a result, we faced difficulties preparing our meals. To make matters worse, one of the two days of our stay was rainy, making the unusable BBQ even more disappointing. We also experienced loud music from a nearby cabin until around 1:00 a.m., despite your quiet hours policy, which disturbed our family’s sleep. Overall, the lack of support, failure to replace the BBQ, and disturbance from other guests significantly affected our stay. I raised these concerns during my visit but have not received any compensation or resolution. I believe fair compensation is appropriate for the inconvenience and poor experience my family endured. I look forward to your prompt response.

Cabin was pretty but cabinco #3 has a very weird smell to it. Making even difficult to turn on the tap to wash hands. Water smells very bad.

The cabin has potential and the area itself is peaceful, but the maintenance really needs attention. There were cobwebs everywhere when we arrived, the heater wasn’t working, and the toilet became clogged and overflowed during our stay. It was disappointing, especially for a property that could otherwise be a cozy getaway. Hopefully the owners address these issues soon so future guests can have a more comfortable experience. Proporty Manager Leroy was very responsive by the way.

The location of this property is really nice — just a few steps away from the lake, which makes it perfect for morning walks and relaxing views. However, we were disappointed to find a mouse trap left behind that hadn’t been checked for a few days. Unfortunately, it caused a strong odor in the area. We ended up disposing of it ourselves and cleaning up to eliminate the smell. Once that was taken care of, everything else was fine, but cleanliness and maintenance could definitely be improved for future guests.

The place is nice. Very quiet. One hiccup we had no hydro for the 4 days we were there. Hydro line was malfunctioning and needed a electrician to come fix it. A good thing we had our generator, extra fuel on board. Hopefully next time things will be better. Ps Not a swimming spot! just paddle boarding or kayaking if you don't mind marsh waters to get to bigger waters to swim.

Sweet Water @ Cabinco #2

My wife, our dog, and I had a great time staying here for 2 nights. The trailer is very comfortable and has everything you could possibly need, which made our stay easy and enjoyable. We would definitely consider coming back in the future. The only downside was that the site we chose offered almost no privacy, and the neighbouring site was very crowded and noisy with over 14 people, two tents, and three cars. I was under the impression that trailers usually have a maximum of 4 guests, so this was a bit unexpected. Overall, a good experience and a nice spot, but something to be aware of depending on the site you choose.

Cabinco 8 was nice. We were able to launch our kayaks directly out back of the cabin which was convenient. The cabin was clean and spacious. Our youngest grandson and his parents enjoyed fishing off the main dock. It was also very affordable. Thanks again

Overall, my husband and I had a pleasant experience; we enjoyed the quiet, the natural setting and being able to kayak in the channel. We were very grateful to have both air-conditioning and heat in the trailer as we needed to use both of them at this time of year! The trailer itself is a bit run down, showing its age/wear and tear I suppose. The lockbox did not work correctly upon entering or exiting and required communication with the Properly team to sort it out, and we observed others who appeared to have a similar experience with their lock boxes. The electric gate was never down, so I don’t know if it wasn’t working or if staff chose to not put it down for convenience sake? My recommendation to others would definitely be based on their ability to get in and out of the trailer OK, as the stairs and handle can be a little tricky whilst navigating the door in and out. Getting around the bed and the washroom can also be tricky if you have any mobility issues. If you understand what you are getting, and you match your expectations, it can be a really nice experience.

We had such a wonderful stay at the Cabin Co RV! The RV itself was really clean and comfortable, and the whole property was quiet and peaceful. At night, the view of the stars was absolutely breathtaking, making it such a relaxing and memorable getaway. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful escape!

Zero compliants. Quiet during the week, wonderful people to meet that are there. Service recpicion isn't the best or the wifi, bit that's not on them. Trailer 23 was pretty private. I looked for a sink plug to do the dishes and they told me not to worry about it, cleaning crew does is. Beautiful spot, wonderful place to stay.

The place was good but it had lots of spider web! The front place had lots of goose poop and i had to clean it so that i can sit around the fireplace to enjoy outdoor. The place could have been cleaner. Overall nice experience could have been better with hygiene factors!

I enjoy our camping trip, the trailer was nice, the fridge and freezer were bigger than expected. The ac worked well and the shower was massive for a trailer. What more could you ask for? I liked the area. Bring bug spray but that’s to be expected. Kayaking was lovely. My kids loved it as well

We stayed in Cabinco# 2 from July 23-26, 2025. It was a very relaxing and peaceful stay. The trailer was clean and well equipped. We had an issue with hydro in the slide out of the trailer and Leroy’s team was quick to respond. There were few visitors during the week but Friday night the place filled up quickly. Even with the abundance of people it remained peaceful with no overly loud music or voices. Our vacation was with extended family and 4 sites were stayed in. Each site was unique and clean. This was the second time for one family and first for the rest of us. I would highly recommend Cabinco for a peaceful and relaxing spot to get away from the hustle of life

Trailer park is fine and in a good location. Good communication from the person in charge. However our trailer smelt like sewage and with every toilet flush it got worse. Brought it to their attention and nothing was done during our stay and we were not offered to move trailers. In total I paid $750 with all of the charges and taxes for 3 nights, which to me is expensive for what we ended up getting. The smell ruined our time at the trailer, especially with kids complaining about it and the smell followed our clothes home. We live with septic at our house, we have rented many trailers/cottages and have had to deal with the trailer/cottage smells many times but this was gross.
