The farm is 8 flat acres that is made up of natural meadow, flower and heirloom vegetable farm. We are close to Lake Erie with its variety of water sports and nearby beach. Enjoy boating, fishing, swimming, canoeing, kayaking. Search for beach glass on one of the many nearby beaches. Visit one of the many wonderful restaurants in the Harbor District. Come and enjoy the Beach Glass Festival in June, The Wine and Walleye Festival in July, The County Fair in August, The Covered Bridge Festival in October. Visit one of the many wineries throughout the county. Visit Geneva on the Lake with its many activities, bars, wineries and restaurants or play a round of put put golf. A full service golf course is just down the road from the farm. You can explore the local rivers, Ashtabula and Grand River. There are many smaller lakes close by to enjoy too. Ohio's Metro Park system is extensive in Ashtabula. Hike and explore to your heart's content. Love music? There is almost always live music around the county in the summer. Enjoy some wonderful bands and have a glass of wine, beer from the local brewery or coffee from one of the many local coffee shops. There is always something to do close by. Come and Enjoy!Pitch your tent in our natural meadow or pull your rv or trailer into our drive. In the latter months of the summer, the garden will be in full bloom. Come and pick a vase of flowers. Enjoy the dahlias and wildflowers. Enjoy fresh vegetables when available. Visit nearby Lake Erie or the wineries of Ashtabula County. Hear live music or attend the Beach Glass Festival, The Wine and Walleye Festival or see the county's covered bridges. Visit us in 2024 for the total eclipse in April. There are a million things to see and do!

Mary and Mike were wonderful hosts and are excellent stewards of their property! Their place can easily accommodate multiple groups, and no spot was off limits. It’ll be a prime wide-open spot for any 2024 eclipse viewers. They are several miles clear of the area towns and bathrooms, so expect to be rooted there once your day’s itinerary ends. Don’t expect a full camping experience, but I wager it would be welcome if you’re a minimalist about it! Got some complimentary Utz pretzels to boot, so to that end, I would most definitely book again! Thank you Sloan family for a great Ashtabula experience!
