Welcome to The Crow’s Nest, a quiet, off-grid camping experience nestled in the mountains of Western North Carolina. Set along a small creek and surrounded by fields, forests, and mountain views, this land was created for those seeking peace, simplicity, and a deeper connection to nature. Our domes offer a cozy place to rest after a day of exploring or doing nothing at all. Spend your time wading in the creek, walking the land, or sitting by the fire as the sun sets over the mountains. This is a working farm, and you’ll share the space with goats, a pig, chickens, and livestock guardian dogs. The property also includes a small apiary, supporting pollination and contributing to the natural rhythm of the farm. You may notice bee activity in certain areas during the day. What you’ll find: • Creek access for wading and relaxing • Open fields and wooded areas • Natural/game trails for exploring • Fire pits at each site • Shared outhouse(composting toilet + handwashing station) • Simple, cozy domes with rechargeable lighting • WiFi available (cell service is spotty at best) Optional add-ons to enhance your stay: • Firewood bundles for your private fire pit • Picnic setup featuring farm honey, food, and wine • Inflatable paddle boards for nearby water adventures Explore nearby: The Crow’s Nest is within easy driving distance (up to 40 minutes) of some of Western North Carolina’s most loved destinations: • Marion and Old Fort – small-town charm, local shops, and dining • Black Mountain – artsy mountain town with great restaurants and boutiques • Chimney Rock – iconic views and hiking trails • Lake Lure – scenic lake perfect for relaxing and exploring • Lake James – clear water, kayaking, and outdoor recreation At night, expect: • Dark skies • Animal sounds • Fresh air and stillness Things to Know: • Adults only (18+) • Off-grid: no traditional electricity or running water • Well-behaved, dog friendly dogs welcome (livestock on property) • Working farm environment (animal sounds are part of the experience) • Wildlife is present • Moderate walking • Uneven terrain

Guests have access to a shared bathhouse a short walk away across the pasture. Creek access, open fields, wildlife, and farm animal sounds are all part of the experience. Other domes are spaced throughout the pasture approximately 75 feet away. The Crow’s Nest is intended to be a peaceful retreat experience. Guests can enjoy nearby creek access, fire pit evenings, and quiet mountain surroundings. Other domes are visible from a distance of approximately 60 feet.
