Located next to our family business, the Mayberry Motor Inn. Our RV hookup site has up to 50 amps of power, water and sewer. Though the campsite is small, it is surrounded by 5 acres of wooded and landscaped property. Located just 5 minutes from downtown Mount Airy all while maintaining a quiet, peaceful atmosphere. Our motel has a seasonal swimming pool and gazebo available to RV site renters. We provide a calm, relaxing atmosphere for our guests, so the site must host no more than two adults and if any pets, we ask that they be leashed when outside. Site was exactly what we needed for an overnight stay on along trip. Easy setup and level. Did not have to unhook our travel trailer. We arrived late (11:30 pm) and Mikel was still available to communicate with us through the Hipcamp app. We would definitely stay here again.

Lovely Inn, and amazing parking spot. The host was incredibly nice and helped with parking. Pool felt very good on the hot day, and seeing the Aunt Bee museum was lovely. Highly recommend.

Mikel's site has everything we needed for a stopover in Mt. Airy on our way north. Due to the size of our rig and slideout and the power and sewer locations, we were at the edge of the pavement and couldn't open our awning or sit outside but we did enjoy sitting out under the gazebo. The pool was nice as well. It is truly a spot to overnight and is reasonably priced as such.

This place is so very peaceful. It’s quiet and easy access to many places for food and shopping. The scenery is beautiful and very accommodating to my stay. Will be back for sure

Would have liked a fire pit and picnic table, but other than that, the site was fine. Only two sites, so it was very quiet. It was strange that the front desk did not know anything about us having an RV reservation and was unable to contact the host but allowed us to stay, which we appreciated after a long day of driving. Never heard anything else about that, so I guess that was fine. I was worried about this reservation as I was not able to locate an address on the HipCamp site or confirmation which made it seem sketchy. I looked up the Mayberry Hotel web site and compared pictures to determine if I had the right place and after searching the hotel web site, found the address. That was the most uncomfortable part of not knowing if we really had a site booked at a real place or not.

This spot is located in the rear of a very well kept motor inn. Very close to Mt. Airy and everything Andy! The utilities for the site are very functional and the location is private other than the camper in site 1. The location of the water connection is odd, we had to go within a foot or so of the other camper to connect... but it all worked well, so no worries. We really enjoyed the spot and will be back!

We were unable to use our reservation as my husband decided to drive straight through. The host was very friendly and understanding. We would not hesitate to book again.

Great quiet and level spot next to the motel. Nice open field right next to camp spot to walk your pets or set up your table and hang out for the night. Electric hook up available if you need it and water was offered to us by host. Tree coverage isn’t an issue if you have solar panels that need a charge or clear access for Starlink.
