This over 100 year old Adobe house on 2 acres was once owned by a Russian professor who's land was named "Casa de los gatos" (house of cats), because of her 100 or more felines she had, After 95 yrs "Casa de Los gatos" was purchased by Procopio Gonzales a local contractor/ artist who doesnt consider him self an artist , has restored many local historical sites and built many custom homes in the surrounding area including "Leaping Deer Ranch" with his son who now runs the property and keeping the Gonzales legacy going as a contractor and artist him self. Mr Procopio Gonzales now kicks back and enjoys his life giving inspiration with his vision to others. Wow, what an awesome place. Lots of cool stuff. Location very near the beautiful hot springs. Perfect place to stop for a day or longer.

J was so cool and his place is awesome!! We had a blast and the hot springs were so peaceful and amazing. We went 3 times!!! We had fun exploring and taking pics and petting his cute doggie.

Like the sign in the bathroom says, we’re all just folks. Great space, friendly host, good advice. Hot springs are tied for first in my experience. Beautiful northern NM experience.

What an experience! We cannot wait to go back. Everyone was so kind. We were greeted by our host, Jeremiah, and given a tour of the property. We later went and soaked in the hot springs. It was so relaxing that we went back in the morning. If you like old cars and beautiful craftsmanship this is the place. They are beyond talented.
