Beautiful Tipi Experience!
We traveled down to New Mexico for a relaxing and enjoyable tipi camping trip and we’re incredibly impressed. Deb and Gil were so welcoming and kind. They checked on us to see if we needed anything and made the experience memorable. The property is beautiful and the tipi is comfortable and cozy. We were also treated to some amazing star watching. I highly recommend this property if you are looking for lasting memories!

This place is awesome!
Deb and Gil were amazing! The Teepee is beautiful, sits right next to a creek too. They also had all we needed to cook/eat. I caught and released 8 12+ in. trout within a couple days. The night sky was amazing! We will definitely be back.

We loved the teepee on the farm! Deborah & full though of everything to make our time there comfortable! They provided firewood, a grill, plenty of basic cookware and such beautiful bed. We loved watching the horses and cows in the fields next to us while listening to the babbling brook. Truly picturesque and comfortable.
Also, one of the nicest composting bathrooms I’ve been in!

16 Ft. Creekside Glamping Tipi
We stayed in the smaller Teepee and it was in such a beautiful setting. Everything was provided but the food. The bed was comfortable and the brook was lovely sounding. There is about a flight of stairs down into the campsite from the car which are uneven, but very beautiful. My old dog had a hard time with the stairs. I think the bigger Teepee only has a couple of steps.
The hosts were very nice. I would recommend this if you want to be surrounded by beautiful green and a flowing water just a few feet away. Gorgeous.

Debbie’s property is absolutely beautiful, with everything you could need. The teepee is really roomy with comfy beds, with a creek steps outside, a large picnic table, fire pit and plenty of seats, and above all, the views are spectacular. They are incredibly gracious hosts - this is a must visit property for glamping and highly recommended!

My sister and I stayed in the 22 foot creekside tipi for one night. We had a rainy adventure but loved every minute of it. Deborah went above and beyond to help keep everything dry and make sure we were comfortable. We woke up to beautiful, peaceful surroundings to enjoy coffee and sunshine the next morning. We hope to get the opportunity to visit again!

Exceptional tipi on working ranch
We had the most amazing stay at this beautiful tipi!!! The land was absolutely stunning, with a peaceful creek running alongside. The fire pit was perfect for big old camp fires! Their is no noise pollution around at all, so incredible star gazing. The compost toilet and shower worked great, very convenient. There’s also a sink station to clean dishes, which are all supplied. Deb and Gil are the sweetest hosts we could have asked for! Super accommodating and welcoming! Very wonderful people and they own the Chili Line Restaurant down the road 8 miles! Definitely a worthwhile visit, we really enjoyed dinner, drinks and live music! Great food, prices, hospitality… so charming! We will absolutely be booking this place again!

Glamping creekside under the stars
Deb and Gil are wonderful hosts and we felt right at home upon arrival. We rented the smaller tipi with the queen bed and it came equipped with all we needed in a beautiful location. This is our first time “glamping” and we could get used to having a comfortable real bed waiting for us!
Deb and Gil invited us to their home for a no pressure happy hour with snacks, and we absolutely loved getting to know them and seeing all the love and care they’ve poured into their creekside ranch over the years.
The toilet and shower were clean and had zero smell, the grill worked great, and Deb and Gil provided firewood for the campfire and ice for their cooler. We had total privacy under the stars, and even with the rain coming down hard, the soothing sounds of the creek made perfect white noise.
We are already planning returning with our kids and renting the larger tipi, which is well spaced away from the smaller one and also right on the creek. I recommend 100%

Perfect for our family of 5
We had the BEST time! The grounds are absolutely gorgeous and fishing was just steps away from the tipi. The canoe was also an extra perk! The bigger tipi was perfect for our family of 5 and Deborah has thought of everything you need. Beautiful place and the sweetest hosts! We will be back!

Deb and Gil’s Tipi experience was fantastic. The clear skies, stars (we saw 10 shooting stars in two days), and the entire area were lovely. Around 2am you will hear the wolves howl. Highly recommend staying here!

Lots of rain. The teepee held up rather well. We really enjoyed our stay. Our hosts were attentive but not overbearing and made the entire property accessible. I would encourage people to stay and we plan on returning this fall.

This was my first Hipcamp booking and wow I hope every next one is this good!
The property/teepee are easy to find, you can actually see it from the road when you drive down a hill, and the parking signs are easy to follow. Minimal walking but wear shoes, and thats really all you need; Deborah had so many amenities everything is taken care of.
She and her husband were VERY kind to me and you will have a great time and good sleep at this site

This was our first experience with Hipcamp and we are so glad that it was spent creekside. Amazing hosts and wonderful location! Tipi area was clean and spacious with a bathroom only steps away. You truly are off-grid so be prepared to not have cell service and take in what the property has to offer by listening to the soothing sounds of the creek, walking to the pond for trout fishing and enjoying the starry skies at night. If you are looking for a relaxing getaway with inviting hospitality, this is the place to stay!

Stayed here with 5 kids on a recommendation at the local restaurant. It was a wonderful stay. Super hospitable hosts. Beautiful land. Fit 6 people in the tepee. It was cozy but made wonderful memories.

Easy Camping Near Tres Piedras, NM
My family recently stayed at the Creekside Camping Tipi. The location is in the beautiful Carson National Forest with miles and miles of wilderness at your fingertips. A small stream runs right past the tipi and it is surrounded by beautiful pastures. We really enjoyed seeing all the birds in the area especially lots of Canadian geese everywhere. We did a wonderful guided mountain bike tour/ride which was only minutes away from the tipi. The owners provide quite a bit of items needed so you don't need to pack nearly as much as you normally would if you were to tent camp on your own. The town of Tres Piedras is only a few minutes away and if you get the opportunity to eat at the Chili Line Depot you can't go wrong. Deborah also owns that little historical restaurant and the food and service is excellent for sure!

Fireside Tipi Under the Stars
Creekside Glamping Tipi is beautifully situated within Carson Forest and on a level area perfect for spreading out and enjoying nature and the night sky. The tipi was stocked well with the basic necessities and plenty of blankets to keep one warm and cozy. Be warned though, if you visit in late November, like us, be prepared accordingly as temperatures were in the teens. The bathroom facilities are close by and were very clean and easy to operate. Deborah had a lantern lit for us and the fire-pit loaded and ready for lighting. The sound of the babbling creek nearby complimented the brilliant night sky above. Deborah and Gil are the perfect hosts and I highly recommend a stay in their tipi. I only wish we had planned to stay longer. Don’t forget to say hi to Sally, their sweet cow-dog.

Car Glamping at its finest!
This Tipi is in such a cool setting on their ranch close to their ranch house and just a few feet away from the Tusas creek. Plenty of room for others (if needed) to join for tent camping on really smooth level ground adjacent to the TiPi. After a gorgeous night of star watching; I piled into the Tipi to sleep on the queen bed. I woke to the hear their horses playing at dawn - galloping by on the other side of the creek.. Very cool!
