This is a new campground to Rock County near Luverne, MN. This property is known as the "boy scouts" by the locals. When we were kids we spent time on this property riding bike, horses, and exploring. We have turned this 13 acre property into 22 site campground that we are excited to share with you. We have also moved a house west of the campground that is available on Airbnb/VRBO (Sweet Retreat, 5 bedrooms, 2 bath) Nestled in a bed of trees just 2 miles from I-90 and 1/4 mile South of the Luverne City Park. This campground has 12 sites with rural water and 20,30&50 amp electric at every site. Dump Station. 8 Full Hook Up Sites (Sewer, Water, Electric) Two small ponds and shade trees. Wifi. New Shower House/Bathrooms in 2022. Campers can enjoy the quiet place to relax and enjoy nature and wildlife, a perfect place for bird watching. We also have a paved bike trial that connects to the campground that leads to miles of trials around Luverne and out to the State park.

Site 5-Pull Through Water/Electric
Easy to find and we enjoyed the paved walking/biking trail directly behind the campground. Quiet, good utilities. Great for an overnight stay.

Site 14- Full Hook Up Pull Through
We enjoyed our one night stay at River Road Campground. Easy access from I-90. Site #14 was quiet & shaded. The bath/shower house was well lit and very clean.

Site 18- Back In Water/Electric
No picnic table at this site. Showers are not much of a shower. Concrete floor with a curtain that doesn't reach the floor in the corner of the restroom. Dead bugs everywhere. No way to dry hands after washing them. Site next to site 18 smokes cigarettes and it smells of cigarette smoke. I wish I had picked another site.

Site 7- Pull Through Water/Electric
It fit the bill!
The site is gravel and only needed minimal leveling. The campground is on a gravel road across from a farm field with a small pond. Very peaceful at night. We didn't explore the walking or bike trail while there.

This was a quick stop for us, pulled in late, set up, and packed up right away in the morning. Booking was simple, campground was easy to find, numbers of sites were a bit hard to find in the dark. Would stay again!
