This is a new campground to Rock County near Luverne, MN. This property is known as the "boy scouts" by the locals. When we were kids we spent time on this property riding bike, horses, and exploring. We have turned this 13 acre property into 22 site campground that we are excited to share with you. (also available on Airbnb/VRBO) (Sweet Retreat, 5 bedrooms, 2 bath) Nestled in a bed of trees just 2 miles from I-90 and 1/4 mile South of the Luverne City Park. This campground has 12 sites with rural water and 20,30&50 amp electric at every site. Dump Station. 8 Full Hook Up Sites (Sewer, Water, Electric) Two small ponds and shade trees. Wifi. Shower House/Bathrooms. Campers can enjoy the quiet place to relax and enjoy nature and wildlife, a perfect place for bird watching. We also have a paved bike trial that connects to the campground that leads to miles of trials around Luverne and out to the State park.

Site 9- Pull Through Water/Electric

We liked how peaceful and quiet it was, especially with I90 not far away. Suprisingly quiet. Lots of wildlife across the road in a wetland area. The shower rooms were nice and clean. Easy to get in and park. Only thing we didn't care for was random people driving though the campground. The last night of our stay a car was idling at 130 am until I came outside then they left.

Site 14- Full Hook Up Pull Through

Very nice campground with level site. Was surprised at how quiet it was for being close to I90. Will stay here again.

Site 8- Pull Through Water/Electric

I stayed one night in River Road Campground as part of a journey across the country. The treed, no-frills campground was adjacent to an exercise park and close to town.

Site 5-Pull Through Water/Electric

The bathrooms & showers weren't clean and there wasn't any paper towel or toilet paper. But the site was easy to pull in for the night and the location to Blue Mounds state park and the drive in movie theater were perfect. Overall convenient and affordable while traveling but not somewhere to stay if you plan on "camping" instead of just stopping for a night. It was easy to book and no hassle with late check in or anything like that.

Site 5-Pull Through Water/Electric

The campground was easy to find. Quiet since it was away from roads. The spot was a pull through and was perfectly level. No leveling blocks! 2 miles from the city park where we met others for our tractor ride

Site 11-Pull Through Electric/Water

Good for a road trip overnight

Sites were very close together, not bad for RV, but we were the only one in a tent. Site 11 is Very small for a tent. If we had an RV it would be awesome, at the end of the row looking over giant shade trees. Bathrooms were 2 clean shower/toilet/sink rooms with room locks and hot water. Stars at night were very good, 3 shooting stars. But you are close to highway and get that noise all night. We walked the grounds away from the camping and found 2 nice pounds with benches. If we’d gotten in earlier we could have run/walked the trail into the city and state park. We got in at sunset, and left before 9:30 am, so good overnight.
