Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.

Dry camp with a large tent site. The site is just off the highway and very close to the Camp Lake Road/Mesabi Bike Trail intersection. The lake across the road offers deeded access to this property. You’re welcome to enjoy the lake — there’s a boat launch about a tenth of a mile up the road.The Tent Spot can accommodate a couple of vehicles on the driveway, a tent camper or tents. Its a pretty large area with a fire pit. If there is a burn ban on, that applies to this site too. This is a blank tent site, there are no facilities at the site but we are only 9 miles from Ely if you need anything. This is a great way to test your gear before you go into the Boundary Waters.
