Earn this patch by being the first to spend a night outside at a new Hipcamp.

Nomadic camping

Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.

43 acres with about 2 miles of trails! Diverse flora and fauna! Turkey, deer, fox, turtles, toads, frogs, and so many butterflies. Big open center area surrounded by woods on all sides. 5 miles to Cherry Beach and 3.5 miles to Warren Dunes State Park. Camping area with platform and fire pit. Currently no RV hook ups but can park and RV.The camp site has an 18’ x 20’ level deck platform with the fire pit and outhouse right near by. Surrounded by trees and songbirds. When I stay there, I typically fall asleep to an owl hooting and wake up to a Wood Thrush call.

Rig suitability

Vehicles under 30 feet allowed

RVs and travel trailers up to 30 ft. Our wooded private drive has a large turnaround that easily accommodates full-size pickups and can accommodate moderate-size RVs. No large Class A/bus-style motorhomes or large fifth-wheel rigs.

Allowed rigs: travel trailers, pop-up campers, class B RVs, class C RVs, campervans, cars, truck campers, and rooftop tents

Off leash. This is our two dogs’ Happy Place. We let them run off leash but have a GPS collar for one of them. If you have a small dog keep it with you at night. We have spotted coyote on the property. Otherwise feel free to let them run!
