Experience adventure in this unique structure tucked in the forest of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Just 4 miles from town you feel like you're deep in the backwoods. Enjoy the seclusion of the U.P. while also having the luxury of modern amenities. The North Country Trail runs right through the property, allowing you to step out the front door and right onto the trial. From living room to the top of Hogback Mountain is just a 0.5 miles hike. A great place to unwind or seek adventure.Enjoy this unique structure tucked in the backwoods of Michigan's Upper Peninsula. The Fox Den is an underground Earth Home with a live roof. Huge grassy yard that connects to hundreds of miles of hiking trails. Open concept living room and kitchen. Main bedroom has a queen bed, door to the outside, and laundry. Second bedroom has a queen bed and ladder leading to a loft bed. Bunk room has a queen and twin bed. Walk in shower. All bedding and linens provided.

Love this unique home!

We love coming to the UP and to date this has been the most unique home we’ve stayed in up there. The home is perfectly located in the country very secluded, but also just a quick drive to go grab dinner or anything needed. Inside was cozy and had everything we needed. Daija was such a great host! I only wish we could have stayed longer.

Beautiful place to stay wonderful scenery even seen a deer up close. Secluded but close to all activities in the area, shopping and grocery stores. Very clean and kid friendly. I will definitely stay again Thanks 😊

My family and I were looking forward to a staycation this summer, and this place didn't disappoint. The cabin is absolutely beautiful, a true work of art, and the property is quaint, secluded, and peaceful. We especially loved the lawn of clovers and the fire pit area. Lots of sweet touches everywhere you look. As for amenities, it has everything you need and more - clearly a lot of thought was put into making visits comfortable and effortless. Caretaking/cleaning instructions were clear and very fair. Would strongly recommend!

Very unique cabin in the woods very close proximity to mountain biking/ hiking trail head. Host was great very informative and accommodations were exactly as described!
