We love animals, plants, art, and outdoor recreation and love sharing these things with people! We found the perfect little plot for all of these things we love. Nature, art, animals, and lots of space! The hilly, lush land is also known as the Bohemie Alps and it's quite a beautiful area tucked away in Iowa. Visit with the llamas, goats, peacocks, potbelly pigs and the horses and hike around the property or stay in for a quiet stay with a good book and enjoy all the sights and sounds. Lots of extra 'add ons' to enhance the experience! Semi wooded property with hiking trails, hammocks, aerial silks, campfire pit. 5 mi away is Otter Creek Lake, a recreational park for fishing, kayaking, swimming, etc. We have 2 kayaks available. So much to do! Also perfect to just relax, meditate, yoga, sleep...

Lady Morphia's Castle on the Hill

99% (51)
Cabin · Sleeps 4
On a bio-diverse 15 acres, you'll find Lady Morphia's Castle set highest up on the hill, keeping watch over the farm animals and the pretty Bohemie Alps. Sit by the fireplace or find a book off our big bookshelf in the winter, or sit out on the beautiful deck and set out an easel to paint the sunrise or the landscape in warmer months. Walk down and enjoy animal activities like llama hikes and goat socials, find the winding paths through a little nooks for reading, meditation, or taking in the many sounds and sights of nature. A true midwest hidden gem. We love our animals and we love plants and wildlife, and we enjoy sharing this little slice with people that love and respect the land and it's inhabitants, too. You'll find it noted that the bathroom is not yet connected to the cabin and that you will have to walk to the portable toilets or the guest bath/shower.

Hobbit House on a Hill

100% (38)
Earth house · Sleeps 3
Visit Iowa's own 'Middle Earth' in this super cozy Hobbit House! Settled in the hillside with privacy trees and a stellar view. Open the round hobbit door and feel a nice breeze as you wake up with the sunrise, or sit outside on the rock patio and relax, paint, or read. Far enough away, but close enough to still hear all the animals chattering. The hobbit house has all the same add-ons as the other units, so be sure to tack on some extra activities or goods to enhance the experience! Please note! You will have a short walk to a portable toilet, and a somewhat longer walk down the hill to the outdoor shower/bathroom.

Llama Llama Sunrise Chalet

97% (17)
Cabin · Sleeps 4
'Sunrise Cabin' is a beautiful , bright cabin that overlooks the llamas and other farm animals. Watch them from bed, from the outdoor tub on the deck, or sipping morning coffee. All the animals are entertaining enough to watch, you or your kids won't have to turn on the TV, but if you do it’s stocked with DVDs! This cabin also faces East, and is filled with big windows, so if you like to rise with the sun, this is the perfect spot for you. You are welcome to explore all 15 acres, complete with whimsical little nooks, a fort in the willows, and a forest trail! Visit with all the animals and be sure to get a "treat cup" for them. The outdoor tub has only cold water for now, but let it warm with the sun and toss in some summer flowers or enjoy an envigorating, energizing cold tub. Please note, the bathroom/shower is a small walk around the barn, there are also closer portable toilets for your convenience. This cabin has one queen bed and a pull out futon.
