Family Homestead and Horse farm, with large open fields and thick wooded areas. Hiking available to small ponds, wild blackberries and muscadines throughout. We raise Quarter Horses and Welsh Ponies along with miniture Donkeys, sheep, egg laying chickens. We also host a small petting zoo with miniature cows, pigs and sheep. Fresh eggs available for purchase.

Site 1 is a small clear field bordering the front pasture, which contains ponies right now. It is an easy spot for larger RVs to get in and out. Plenty of room for trailers, or drop your non-camping trailer here to tent camp in the hay field. Water and 50/30 amp hook up available.

I meet Kat and, maybe her sister, Dale. Both ladies very nice, seemed very accommodating. Our stay was very quick, so we didn't meet Kat's husband or visit the animals. The property has recently been changed, but the listing has not been updated. There is now a mobile home in the empty field described in the listing. Some campers are more private than others; this site would not work for those campers. We're also not a fan of the 5g tower in the pasture. If we had known about the mobile home or the 5g tower we would not have booked here. Personal preferences, but still our choice. It's not very quite, either. The Jake breaking on the nearby highway could be heard throughout the night, as well as the train horn as it rolled through town. Oh yeah, and the ATV noise late into the night. For those who don't mind the closeness, the property was really pretty and I'm sure a visit to the farm & animals would be fun.

I loved camping on Kat's Hayfield! We had a ton of space to ourselves and it was very peaceful.

We loved camping in the hayfield with our van! Super accommodating hosts. Had a great experience seeing the animals in the woods (separated by an electric fence) in the morning!

Don’t hesitate to book here! Kat and her entire family are the kindest people. They made sure I was well accommodated and really went above and beyond to make my work trip go a little smoother. I am a single woman that travels alone for work so often times, finding safe places to stay can be overwhelming. I felt safe from the moment I parked and met Ms. Dale. I can’t thank them enough and next time I’m in the area, I know exactly where I’m booking!

We've stayed at many farms before, but this one is truly special. The love shown to these animals is clearly reflected in the animals personalities. Such sweeties! The hosts were incredibly genuine as well. It was so refreshing to spend time here, not just for the nature aspect, but the hospitality and connection to the animals. The kids and I are already planning our next trip. Also, the stars and privacy are a bonus!

Lovely stay in the field, easy to get to and had the whole field so I could pick a shady spot. Loved meeting all of the animals too. Kat and her family are thoughtful and responsive

There really are no words to describe how nice and helpful Kat and her family have been to us. This place is beautiful and very well kept. The animals were definitely the highlight of this camping adventure. I definitely recommend this campsite. (Farm) to everyone. You will not be disappointed. Peaceful and entertaining at the same time with all of the animals, especially George one of the donkeys who thinks he owns the place😂. Any questions you might have or anything you may need on this property the owners respond quickly. The owners of this campsite go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and comfortable at all times. This place gets five stars for For sure ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ without hesitation. I will recommend this location to anyone. If I’m ever in this area in the future I will definitely book again.
