The hideaway at Robert's landing is nestled on nearly 3 acres of tree-surrounded land in overstreet, FL. Only primitive campsites for tent or small trailers, campervans and cars. Sites that offer the perfect escape without being too far off the beaten path. Enjoy total privacy and seclusion with no neighbors to interrupt. The property is a spacious 3-acre field, with ATV or hiking trails leading vou through the untouched woods for a deeper nature experience. Bring the bug spray in summer months, after all this is of the grid camping. This rustic, off-the-grid spot offers no electricity, no running water but the inter coastal waterway is just steps away. Ideal for those seeking an a safe backcountry adventure. Perfect for car campers and tent enthusiasts. Located 5 miles east off of Hwy 386, it's a 7 minute drive to Mexico Beach, and 15 minutes to wewahitchka, where you'll find dining and supplies. Fishing is just steps away, and if you want to have us take you Fishing on the ICW, we can arrange that for a fee. Notes: ⁃ We recommend an SUV or truck to navigate the dirt road leading to this amazing place. Sometimes it's graded sometimes it's rough after a lot of rain. All-wheel drive would be ideal, especially after rainy conditions! That said, I have had my jetta there, but it's not always a great road. ⁃ You should be able to get a small camper on the land if you have a powerful vehicle, but I recommend you stick with car or tent camping. Truck campers are very easily getting in. ⁃ Keep in mind, this is a rural location, so you may occasionally hear neighbors firing weapons in the distance. While it's not common, it can happen from time to time. (Especially during hunting season.) ⁃ You may come across wildlife during your stay. While issues and encounters with dangerous animals are extremely rare, it's always a good idea to be prepared by bringing basic first aid supplies and protective items like bear spray, and bug spray. ⁃ There is a Dollar General less than 15 minutes away in either direction for your basic needs. - everyday I'm working to improve this area, like picnic tables, defined camping spots, parking area, fire pits, stuff like that.

We were alone in this quiet wooded tract of land on the Intracoastal Waterway. Exactly how we love it. Fortunately perfect weather too - cool and no bugs. From our campsite Mexico Beach was a quick easy ride with no traffic. Loved the beach and the woods. We fished, walked trails and beaches and watched sunsets. Perfect.

Awesome place to camp. Secluded and quite and right by the river. Sites are clean and level and free of debris. The host is awesome and have great directions. Would love to come back.
