We are located on 20 acres of mostly undeveloped land, with numerous trails winding through the redwood forest and a year-round creek running through the property. Moonstone Beach is just one mile down the hill, along with the other beautiful beaches near Trinidad. The town of Trinidad is only a 10-minute drive away. The property is a work in progress, with one campsite deck completed so far. There is also an Airstream on the property that is available as a short-term rental.

8'3" x 17' Redwood deck hand built from redwood milled on property. There is a bathtub and hot water heater on the deck solely for your enjoyment. Water is sourced from a nearby spring. There is a portable toilet for use by guests a couple hundred feet from the camping deck. We allow up to two well-behaved and friendly pets (dogs or cats) for $10/pet/night. If you would like to bring a pet, please add the Pet Fee which is listed as an extra during the booking process.

Micah's property and hospitality were both outstanding. The space was pristine, clean, private and magical. Micah and his pup were super welcoming and kind. I'll be back!

This place is very sweet. The tub is wonderful! we set our tent up on the ground to have space to cook and hang on the deck but there is space if you have a smaller tent. Very convenient for beach access by car and our dogs were ecstatic to have off leash space- just note there are definitely other dogs and it is end of the road but not fully fenced. I alway camp with dog leads so it worked great for us! No table so bring one

Perfect base camp to explore the redwoods and surrounding area. The deck was nice and the bathtub was super cool, the water is even hot so it’s actually useable to unwind after a big hike! Micah was a generous host. There is some terraforming happening, work in progress but the spot was private and everything we needed. Would stay here again.

It was a peaceful spot out there. At night when it's quiet you can hear the creek and sometimes the sound of the waves. Micah was a very nice host and very generous to let us stay even longer. We really enjoyed our stay and we will be back.

We have been enjoying staying on Michah's land very much. It's private so you don't hear too much from the other campers which we enjoy. We love that there is a tub to soak in and enjoy the Redwoods around you. He has a very sweet pup Teddy who likes to check in on you guys! Such friendly service! ☺️ And speaking of that Micah has been a very gracious host and has been super kind and helped us with whatever we may needed. Over all 10/10 and I would highly recommend this place. There's so much around too, the beach is just down the way in walking distance.

Peace and serenity

22' Airstream
Whimsical, romantic, secluded, quiet. Micah is quite the host and has a keen sense of what is needed for the perfect getaway. Firewood and a fire ring were right outside the door as we walked up. Once we walked inside we were greeted with such wonderful and tasteful accents everywhere: small organic chocolates, different teas, scented candles and tea lights for us to use, and other little odds and ends that created such a lovely experience! There is also the internet, hot and cold water, a flushing toilet, and a stove to cook on. A wonderful, yet deceivingly small bathtub with an absolutely beautiful view awaits those who are ready to bask in serenity and nature's beauty! The bed is exceptionally comfortable with more than enough space, pillows, and extra bedding to keep you warm and comfy all night long. I'm 5'10" and fit great in the bed as well as the tub! The property around the camp does have some earth moving work going on in the heart of it, but the property is ABSOLUTELY STUNNING!! There are humongous ancient Redwood stumps all over the place, several trails and paths to walk, flowers, birds, creeks, and more, all within the 40 acres we are allowed to roam and explore with our dogs. The night brings out a lovely forest symphony for all who listen to enjoy! I don't think I can hold a higher opinion of the host's grace, the property's beauty, or the airstream's coziness. It truly was a whimsical and romantic experience from start to finish. Thank you so much!
