Large, clean sites with picnic tables. Shade available. Plenty of space between sites. Super dog friendly. Very quiet & peaceful at night. The hot springs are amazing! My only regret is we only stayed one night.

Got a site in the middle of the week and not busy at all. The creek is very peaceful and refreshing! The hot springs are very nice during the early morning and evening. Overall, great place to camp.

Great relaxing spot. Beautiful for starry nights and river sounds. The store in Big Bend is so friendly and convenient. Hot tubs are very popular so get ready to meet other chill people.

We didn't stay over night but did the day use for the hot springs. The directions we received were very helpful and clear. Hot springs were awesome! All easily accessible and lots of different options for heat, including cold plunge in the river. Beautiful setting and property, we look forward to coming back and camping next time!

Kosk Creek Campgrounds
The scenery at Kosk Creek is what really stood out — a beautiful mix of creek views and forest cover that made the short walk in (under 15 minutes) an enjoyable part of the day itself. The camping area itself is rustic yet clean, with a nice selection of both sunny and shaded campsites, set up in a meadow above the creek — we didn't get much of a bug bite problem being up out of the water. We camped in our van and had no trouble finding a spot that worked well for it. The hot springs are man-made stone soaking tubs set in a naturally gorgeous spot; they're not super secluded, but the setting more than makes up for it. There's also a great swimming hole nearby — bring swim goggles, because you can spot a surprising number of fish once you're under the water. Host communication was excellent throughout, which made planning and finding our way easy. Overall a great day trip — we'd happily recommend it to other Hipcampers looking for an easy, scenic soak.

Beautiful spot and we will definitely return. We are so grateful that we found this place. Make sure you have the gate combo before you head out there as there is no service but there is wifi up the road at their house gate.

The tent site we chose was beautiful! Right by the creek. There was a lot of land to choose from so you could decide if you wanted shade/if you wanted to be close to other campers. Directions to the hot springs was a little bit confusing- the trail is marked by a big archway! After finding the trail it was pretty easy to get there. Hot springs were incredible and the perfect temperature.

The host was excellent with providing directions and information, and the site was exactly as described. The hot springs and cool creek were wonderful after a day spent at Burney Falls and the Subway lava tube. Met one of my sore neighbors and we had a nice chat, very friendly.

Direction to the fishing hole is ambiguous, no one could find the place.
Trash collection should be a must for this site, if you don’t want people to live the place as pristine as it is, trash collection facility must be there.

The Creek and hotsprings were absolutely beautiful. Very large campground with tons of camping spots. Just be careful of some wildlife such as rattlesnakes, and also black widow within one of the porta potty’s, but that’s just life in the wilderness. They didn’t bother us at all as long as you’re aware of them and just stay away from them. Amazing experience overall during a very hot weekend, the creek kept us super nice and cool.

It is a beautiful place and we really enjoyed our stay. The road to get there is horrible and I recommend a high clearance vehicle. Entry by a locked gate helped to make us feel secure and safe. It was very crowded while we were there but folks were quiet and considerate. There was a fire ban but at least three campsites had wood fires and the owner did not stop them - that was not good and made us uncomfortable. There was a lot of trash around our site that we had to clean up. The porta-johns were disgusting, smelly, and did not have enough toilet paper. That was a big turn-off and the main reason I will not be returning. No cell service, but that was kind of nice. We brought our starlink in case of emergency and so we could get directions. The people at the Pit Store were fantastic and helped us locate the place because the directions were unclear.

Beautiful setting. Remote location. A far drive from many of the tourist attractions in the area. The portable toilets weren't very well maintained, a couple were very full. The hot springs were a nice temperature but at a lot of algae and generally didn't seem very clean. The meadow and parts of the trails were pretty overgrown with poison oak and thorns. The campsites are not very defined. Loud cows nearby. Beautiful stargazing spot. The creek and views are also beautiful.

I really enjoyed our night stay out at this location, I wish we could have stayed longer! The hot springs are beautiful and I appreciated the signage outside. Definitely bring bug spray, that’s the one thing we wish we had, mosquitoes started to pop up in the evening. But would definitely go back!

Had a great time camping here! It was our first time using Hipcamp to find a last‑minute spot close to Lassen NP and Burney Falls SP, and there were plenty of great options. We found a site by the creek, no picnic table or fire pit, but the morning view made up for it.
The walk to the (very) hot springs was easy. We visited the first one and met the kindest fellow campers, who even let us enjoy the whole area on our own. Cooling off in the creek afterward was perfect, especially since there’s no shower or running water.
We brought our own bathroom bucket and tent, though there were several portapotties around the campground. We didn’t see any garbage bins, so we packed out all our trash. Not sure if it was just our spot, but the mosquitos were intense. Since wood burning wasn’t allowed (as of June 2026), we relied on bug spray and citronella candles.
The white noise from the creek was unbeatable, we loved it! We’d definitely come back and just find a better way to handle the mosquitos because this spot was great!

Used a day pass to use the hotsprings while staying down the road. I wish the pricing was easier to navigate, as I had to pay for two people even though I was with my little daughter who should have been free. When I tried to use the springs on the second day since I had paid for two adult day passes I found the lock code changed. Since there was no internet I could not message the host. Other than the disappointment of not using the springs for a second day, the camp sites looked great and well maintained. The hot springs were what I would consider wild, but maintained with benches and shade structure. My young daughter really enjoyed playing in the river water and then warming up in the spring. I would go back.

We went this past weekend and enjoyed the grounds and hot springs and river. The porta potties need some upgrading and probably better maintenance. Directions to the campgrounds could be a little clearer as well.
