Welcome to the Garden House located on an organic farm nestled along the northern end of the Avenue of the Giants. Enjoy the peace and quiet of the surrounding redwoods while seeing a beautiful farm in action. The property is gated and close to a gorgeous hiking trail in Humboldt Redwoods State Park. It’s proximity to the Eel River allows seasonal access and more exploration along the river bar.This is a small cottage set back from the road. There is a covered front porch that greets you. There are Redwood trees visible from the front porch. There is a shower with hot and cold water, as well as a toilet. There is a Queen sized bed with linens and pillows provided. There is tap water available inside as well as a spigot outside. There is no kitchen, so please ensure you bring your own cooking equipment, and please cook outside on the porch. There is a steam kettle, mugs, and bowls for hot drinks and instant hot meals. The garden house has an electric floor heater.

Moto camper
Loved staying at this Hipcamp. Convenient location off 101 for an overnight stay. My stay was brief and I was only there for a night. The bed was comfortable. Cabin has hot shower and charging outlets. Margie was responsive and helpful through the stay.

So Perfect!
We had an amazing time staying on Margie's land. We took the farm tour and got to meet the lovely people farming the land. The space was very comfortable and clean and everything worked well. We backed up our truck to the little house and used our portable kitchen set up to have our meals on the porch. The stars were incredible and I can't emphasize enough the amazing access we had to Humboldt Redwoods State Park. Everyone we encountered on the site was so nice and helpful throughout our stay. Thank you so much!

With pets
Beautiful tiny home and a wonderful area! It's very quiet and peaceful. Cell service was not an issue. Margie and her brother made it very easy to find and greeted us at the gate!
