Earn this patch by being the first to spend a night outside at a new Hipcamp.
This is a bare bones campsite.. but it is close to the clear creek trailhead for hiking/ mountaineering and all around gorgeous. There is a small deck you can pitch a tent on and the view of the stars there is incredible. Driveway is good enough for a camper van or small RV. Just make sure you take the driveway split left downhill and not up (right) to neighboring property. You will see my off grid cabin and shed. Just please be respectful and don’t mess with anything. Thank you! Enjoy your stay at the base camp.If you plan to climb Shasta via the clear creek route or enjoy the alpine wilderness here, this is the perfect base camp. I am offering this camping space to anyone who wants to use it to camp close to the trailhead and otherwise to have a great recreational space to camp on private property. There is a small deck for tent camping and a mostly level gravel driveway for rv’s/ camper vans or other car camping. This is a beautiful wooded lot that you are welcome to walk around and explore and enjoy some of the most beautiful stars from. Thank you
