Sheep Springs Campground is a primitive backcountry site ideal for tent camping. The road to camp is narrow, steep, and rough, so leave the large vehicles home this time. The trailhead to Crystal Lake Trail is nearby. The trail is best suited for hikers and leads through the rugged backcountry to the pristine Crystal Lake.
