Beautiful property with a nice mix of woods and clearings. Very quiet (you can hear road traffic occasionally, but it wasn't a big deal). There was one other camper on the property and I only saw them as they were leaving.
There are lots of primitive trails to explore and looks like there's a frisbee golf course in the works. The private porta-potty was clean and it was nice to have a well-water spigot nearby. The only minor quibble was there seemed to be some trash in the camp sites. I picked up around my site and added a few other bits from the neighboring site. Wasn't terrible, but it was noticeable. Remember to pick up after yourselves.
The burn ban was still in effect, so unfortunately no fires on this trip. Maybe next time. I'll plan on coming back later in the fall or early Spring.
Overall, it was a great weekend, and I do recommend it!

This is a great spot to camp at. We brought our little trailer and pulled up right to the platform area that was generous and size with a nice picnic table.. we had plenty of room in our campsite and the stargazing was amazing. It’s only 15 minutes outside of white salmon, making it a perfect home-base for activities that we wanted to do in the area. The host was super communicative and easy to deal with..

We really enjoyed this site! It was so very quiet and secluded. There are trails to explore. The town is close by for quick shopping. And best of all, no cell service until you’re a few miles off the property. Not a fan of Porta Potties, but I can assure you this was by far the cleanest one I’ve used in a very long time.
We were with my small breed puppy who loved the adventure. It’s very animal friendly there. There’s plenty of room to explore.

What a cool spot! I’m almost reluctant to recommend it because it was just so quiet and peaceful and I don’t want to spoil a secret spot! The campsites are clean and spacious and the well water was cold and delicious. I’ll definitely go back.

Elderberry flats was a lovely, secluded and clean site. It had a good mix of sun and shade. Plus it’s near the port-a-potty (very clean!) and spigot.
Lily was a very hands-off host, which we appreciated. Other campers were at the site near us, but we hardly saw them or heard them.
We tent camped in the meadow and it was lovely. Would stay again!

This was a great spot, tucked away from town. We especially liked the great platform and easy access to the restroom and water. Lily was also super helpful when we had to cut our trip short unexpectedly. FYI for light sleepers, the crickets and/or frogs were very vocal! This wasn’t at all an issue for us, but fyi. Oh, and we had Verizon and T-mobile cells and didn’t have any service. The T-mobile folks could get it briefly if they walked a little ways up the hill. So be ready to truly go offline!

This spot is so quiet and remote feeling but it’s also quite close to White Salmon, Bingen, and Hood River. Super clean porta potty and easy directions too. I will definitely come back!

Lots of weeds & thistles in the tent areas. Picnic bench was appreciated. Quiet & off road. 30min to Panther Fall. Lots of wildlife…turkey, falcons, deer, 2 bears oh my!

Evergreen Grove
One of our favorite camping spots so far! The birds were plentiful and lovely. It was really nice to have a platform with a table on it for our stuff. Felt very clean and private with a lovely mix of shade and sun! I did encounter a black bear while walking through the property, but they ran and did not want anything to do with me. Would definitely stay here again!

Great spot! It was quiet, well maintained, clean and private, all the things we were looking for in a site. The picnic table was solid and gave us plenty of room to set up and the tent site tucked behind the table was ample. Definitely recommend this spot for anyone who is looking for a spot in this area. Also it’s a short drive to the White Salmon Bakery which is a do not miss.

We had an absolutely amazing time camping and this site! We stayed at evergreen grove and it had everything we could have possibly dreamed for tent camping glamping. A huge palate for hanging out, picnic table, separate fire pit area in the sun, a personal porta-potty and potable water access- what more could you ask for! Another bonus was being so close to White Salmon and Hood River for some in-town exploring. We will be coming back soon and often! Truly a hidden gem.

Loved this spot! We have reactive dogs so we wanted to find something that wasn’t a crowded campground. At Evergreen Grove we had our own meadow that our dogs could sniff around in, and the wooden platform and private porta potty made for a super clean and comfortable glamping experience. Being surrounded by tall trees was lovely for shade and bird watching. The open meadow allowed for stargazing.
The host and other campers were at least 100 yards away. They were out of sight but you could still hear them far off; kid laughter, roosters, other dogs barking, etc. Not a big deal for us, but it did make our dogs a little restless. We also heard owls hooting and coyotes howling in the night which was exciting!
We explored the little creek trail accessed by walking back down the road past the other campsite. It was steep in places but doable.
Would definitely recommend Evergreen Grove for people looking for a private “easy” camping experience that feels like you’re out in nature but aren’t too far away from civilization.

We only stayed for a quick night after exploring the Washington side of the gorge but it was a perfect spot. The property is quiet and even though we had the place to ourselves, the sites ate pretty private. Lily had clear and easy communication and the place was easy to find.

Very private and feels more remote than it is. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again! Appreciated the porta-potty and potable water. We had plenty of TP but maybe bring extra just in case.

Camp sites are very well spaced providing lots of privacy and peace. Particularly liked this site and the on site portapotty. No loose dogs on property which is always a plus for me, a reactive dog owner! There are plenty of deer that show up during dusk. Would definitely recommend for a quick getaway.
