The perfect way to escape the heat of summer, and the crowds of Zion National Park. Kolob Campground, Kolob Terrace Road, and Kolob Reservoir is a quiet location nestled between the main canyons of Zion National Park and the remote Kolob Finger Canyons Complex at Zion National Park. With quick access to West Rim Trail, Subway Canyon, Hop Valley Trail, and Wildcat Canyon Trail, this area of Greater Zion is not to be missed.   Located in a private gated area on the shores of Kolob Reservoir, Kolob Campground is the premiere location for camping on Kolob Mountain in the Greater Zion National Park area.  Kolob Campground is located adjacent to the Kolob Reservoir boat ramp and dock, including four acres of private shoreline. Just a few feet from the paved road, nestled in tall aspen, oak, and pine trees.  Access to potable water is available adjacent to camp, and public restrooms (vault toilets) are only a short walk from camp. WiFi access is available nearby at Kolob Adventure Rentals/Adventure Beach (3 minute walk). WiFi location and password provided by host upon request. This is an exclusive benefit available to our guests, and the only WiFi available to campers in the area. Canoe, kayak and SUP rentals, snacks and beverages are also located nearby.  LP(propane) fires are allowed and LP fire bowls can be provided through the camp host. LP fuel is also available for purchase. Wood burning, charcoal, and smoking currently not allowed due to area restriction.

Site 16 Tent or Large RV
Never camp here. Ever.
I was not able to find the site. There were no site indicators. The host was not available and never got back to me. I would not recommend this camp site to anyone.

Site 9 Large Site Tent or RV
Awesome campground! John was super helpful and responded to all my messages so quickly. Will definitely have to come back when the weather is a little warmer. If you have a larger RV though it could be difficult to maneuver around the site.

Site 5 Tent or Camper Van
Not a horrible place to camp…
Smallest site there and there’s no way to know ahead of time. Host woke me up first morning by banging on my car because he thought I was a squatter. I paid for 2 nights. That wasn’t great. Besides those things it’s a beautiful place to see. Especially in the fall when the aspens are changing. I think I’ll stay at the county’s campsites next time. They’re literally across the lake. And their camp host Jeff was very cool and helpful.

Site 14 Tent or Medium RV
100% recommended
If you are confused like me regarding to the address and directions just put in your navigation "Kolob Campground" it will lead you right to that spot. we came with our dog, we rented 14 site, it was beautiful, almost from each site you have the view to the lake, the HOST drive through the site at night and asked us if we are ok and if we need anything, I thought it was super sweet of him, I felt super safe, there was internet around but very low reception so dont count on it, bathrooms were those portable toilets on a trailer, the site provided us giant trash bins and tables to cook on and also tables and chairs to sit, also you got a big fire pit. it was just perfect I couldn’t ask for more. thank you John & Mark for the experience! we will definitely return!
