Kolob Campground, Kolob Terrace Road, and Kolob Reservoir is a quiet location nestled between the main canyons of Zion National Park and the remote Kolob Finger Canyons Complex at Zion National Park, about 40 minutes from Virgin Utah. With quick access to West Rim Trail, Subway Canyon, Hop Valley Trail, and Wildcat Canyon Trail, this area of Greater Zion is not to be missed. Located in a private gated area on the shores of Kolob Reservoir, Kolob Campground is the premiere location for camping on Kolob Mountain in the Greater Zion National Park area.     Kolob Campground is a delightful spot for those looking to enjoy the beauty of nature near Mt. Zion. The proximity to the reservoir makes it an ideal location for fishing and kayaking enthusiasts. While the cleanliness and attentiveness of the hosts receive high praise, some campers noted the lack of shower facilities as a downside. The campsites are quite close together, which might not be ideal for those seeking solitude, but it does foster a friendly atmosphere among campers.

    It was okay

    Being in this campground over a weekend was a mistake. I hoped for peace and quiet, I got neither. The camp host did not see fit to enforce quiet time rules. Babies screaming, dogs barking, people up after midnight all contributed to NO PEACE. If I/we ever go back, it will be during the week. We were there last weekend in September........be warned.
