Greenup Meeting Place is a picturesque 50 acre property, with frontage on Bracker Creek and Coolmunda Dam. Our property is located near Inglewood, close to the Queensland border. Once home to Greenup School, the land is rich in history – the perfect place to put your feet up and unwind. Based in the middle to explore the Goondiwindi region and surrounds. Our peaceful, non-powered campsites have plenty of room for singles, families and groups. We cater for tents, caravans, RVs and camper trailers. Our sites have access to toilet and shower facilities. Your closet dump point and water is in the township of Inglewood (25klms). Where you are able to top up for your needs. Our dormitory style and family room accommodation is ideal for small and large groups of up to 50 people with shared toilet and shower facilities and a dedicated sitting room available. Fish the creek for Yellowbelly, Cod or just sit back, relax and enjoy the abundant bird and wildlife. Have a swim, go kayaking or take a walk to explore. Or why not join us for a coffee and meal at CC Cafe Thursday-Sunday! Pet friendly yes, all pets are to be kept at your camp, on leash to walk and must be cleaned up after. Generators are allowed, MUST be OFF by 8pm as a consideration to others. Our gates close at 4PM if you are unable to be in by 5PM you will have to unfortunately arrive the following day. Internet and phone coverage can very poor WELCOME TO THE BUSH.

If I could give Greenup Meeting Place 10 stars out of 5, I absolutely would! What an incredible place to stay. From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcome. The grounds are beautiful, peaceful, and exceptionally well looked after, making it the perfect place to unwind. The highlight of our stay was the last night’s dinner—it was simply beautiful. The food was outstanding, cooked to perfection, and made for the perfect way to finish our trip. It was one of those meals you’ll be talking about long after you’ve left. The hospitality, atmosphere, and attention to detail were second to none. We can’t recommend Greenup Meeting Place highly enough and will definitely be back. Thank you for making our stay so memorable!

I really enjoyed the peace and tranquility of Greenup Meetup place. The weather was great and the sunset on the last night was amazing. Unfortunately, I was not able to use the cafe or get food due to a wedding. I was looking forward to looking around the camp at the other sites and making use of the facilities. I didn't get to see the original spot I was assigned since I was moved due to the wedding. I would still return and I would definitely recommend, it just would have been nice to get a notification that my spot had changed and the cafe unavailable.

This was my second trip to Greenup, and my first as a solo camper. It’s perfectly situated for a tranquil private experience but feels completely safe. Shelley and Col are wonderful hosts. The facilities and cafe are excellent. The bird life is unmatched and a must for any bird enthusiasts! I will be back again.

What a perfect piece of paradise. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and will be back again. Favourite memories: seeing the mist on the river in the early morning; clear night skies for star gazing; the cows meandering through our site around 11am every morning. We went into Texas to visit the Rabbit Museum, a definite must see. Had a great Chicken Kiev at the local pub and just walked the streets of Texas. The cafe is just delightful as are Shelly, Col and Jenny. We will be back with family and friends.

Shelley was so helpful even they had a massive event in progress when we arrived. The campsite was so peaceful and the scenery was fantastic. I would definitely recommend the Greenup Meeting place to anyone who wants a quiet time away to just relax. I have already told all the family, friends and work colleagues about Greenup. Absolutely beautiful spot. So peaceful, right on the river. Abundance of bird life always around. Hosts were friendly and welcoming. Added bonus, bins available at each campsite. Clearly labeled and emptied regularly so not smelly.

We chose a site closest to the lake, right at the end of the property. Maximum privacy but furthest from toilets, showers, etc (which didn’t worry us at all as we are fully off grid). Magnificent views, kangaroos, emus, swans, pelicans, etc. Fire pits at every campsite & dog friendly. Terrific cafe at the reception area & friendly staff. Highly recommend!

Beautiful camping grounds! Recycling at the grounds is very impressive 😄 The staff were very nice and accommodating which made our quick weekend away well worth it 😄 The Meetup cafe was a life saver for the trip home as coffee is sold there! Firewood was available to purchase and the cafe had a history of Greenup section which was really interesting 🤔 The toilets and showers were around this area too. The toilets and showers are well maintained. Prepare yourself with pre downloaded music and some beers ! Great weekend getaway! New camping destination for us :)

With a spontanous camping trip, this campground has qucikly become one of my new favourite spots which I have not been able to stop telling people about! From the size of you site, the access to the creek, and everything else you'd need right here. The staff have truly created a wonderful, respectful, and safe atmosphere for families, friends, and solo travellers alike. This relaxing getaway was just the escape I needed, and I plan to return for sure

What a great find! A beautiful peaceful camp on the green banks of the Bracker Creek on Lake Coolmunda. Birdlife a plenty along with kangaroos and emus. Each site is huge and comes with a fire pit with wood. You’ll need a chainsaw and axe to chop it up. Bonus is the quirky CC’s Cafe. Congratulations to the owners. I’ll certainly be staying here again and also recommend it to my caravanning friends.

Lovely clear area with plenty room, great view of River & Dam, plenty of birds, wallabies & even emus. Grandkids loved it. Went for a fish in the dam & even caught a few good yellow bellys!

We very much enjoyed our long weekend at Greenup. The site was scenic with lots of birdlife, quiet and a real gem to find out Inglewood way. Shelley was very efficient and helpful in sorting out any issues. We definitely want to come back again.

The most magical, relaxing and welcoming little sanctuary west of the range.♥️🌈🌠 Stunning scenery camping along the river, stare into your own little open fire pit or just up at the endless amount of stars. Cooked dinner if you don't want to or a coffee maded fresh when you walk up for a shower in the morning. All round amazing.

Beautiful location on river, big campsites & close location to Dam. Plenty birdlife, great canoeing & pet friendly, staff & amenities excellent. Will go back! Our site a bit close to road though not much traffic.
