Homesteaded in 1887 by ancestors of the current caretakers, you’ll find a wealth of knowledge about the land and its history.

We are close to Mount Rushmore, Fort Robinson, Agate Fossil Beds, the paleo-Indian dig site known as the Hudson-Meng Bone Bed, and the Chadron Fur Trade Museum. Toadstool Geologic Park is our next-door neighbor.

Hike the glorious Pine Ridge, a 100 mile long escarpment of Ponderosa Pines and prairie lands. You want panoramic shots on your camera? This is the the spot! There’s plenty of trails for bikers and horseback riders to move those miles along. With plenty of tennis, swimming pools, and seriously rad fishing ponds, Chadron is fun for the whole family!
