Additionally, there are restrooms, showers, and laundry facilities available on the resort. Perfect for RVs or fifth-wheel trailers, our concrete lot can accommodate up to a 40' Class A RV. If you do bring a camper keep in mind our sites are pull in only with no hookups (dry camping) and they will require some leveling. Generators are also not allowed. Welcome to Bohemian Freedom Park! We’re excited to welcome you to our property, which is just under 8 acres. Our space is totally private, fenced in, and features a clean swimming hole with a beach! About the property Our property is near Kissimmee Prairie Preserve State Park and Lake Okeechobee. If you’re looking for places to visit for the day or services nearby, you can head to Okeechobee, which is only 20 min away. Lake Placid is only 40 min, Vero Beach is only 1 hr, and Melbourne is 1 hr 30 min. All of the listed locations offer great opportunities for fishing, hunting, swimming, and beach hangouts. Each of the sites allows for watching the mini livestock, sitting around a communal campfire, hanging out at the watering hole, and having coffee or cocktails on the Mary Celeste! Our favorite things about our property are privacy, amenities, and all of the roaming mini livestock throughout the property! Your hosts do not live onsite however, will be available to you during your visit. We are friendly and as non-invasive as we can be. We do love meeting our guests and are available for any questions that come up. Our primary purpose when developing this property was to create a safe space for children with special needs and their families. We are a no judgment zone and adhere to Hipcamp's inclusion policy. About the listing This listing is for a day trip, or a back-to-your-roots, overnight tent camping trip. Guests will choose their location after a tour of the property. We have various locations with AC for the hot summer days and bug-free dining throughout the property. We allow a maximum of 2 tents and 7 people per overnight stay.

The Property sits between the Indian River Lagoon and the Savanna’s State Park, mornings and sunsets will host an aerial show or local birds as they leave/return to their rookeries. We have a several gardens which we keep growing and changing. A vast array of Bromeliads gardens, Tropical Plant gardens, Our newest addition is a expansive Butterfly Garden as well as our Palm/Hibiscus garden which encircles the fire pit. While we do not have steps for direct River access, our Jensen Beach Causeway is a mere 5 min ride to Launch Ramps. We have 2 Kayaks available for a small rental fee of $10.00 per kayak/Day so you can explore our area by land and water. This is a little slice of Old Florida Paradise.

A small but unique piece of land that was given to a family in the 1920s by the Florida Railroad Company. It stayed in the family until we purchased it. It is unique because the surrounding area does not have much tree coverage. This is due to the ground underneath, which is a vein of grey marl. This is why the area is called the Allapattah (an Indian word for Alligator) Flats. We are hoping that our county stays the way it is so people will know what Old Florida really looks like. Minutes from I-95, but surrounded by the Allapattah Flats Wildlife Management Preserve. Located on Martin Hwy, which was recently designated as a Florida Scenic Hwy. Fifteen minutes to Stuart and thirty minutes to West Palm Beach, a world away from the hustle and bustle. We realize that people also love Florida for Disney and tropical paradises but if that is what you want than this may not be your kind of place.

Our property boasts all amenities including waste disposal, water, electricity, and cable onsite (please note: there is no WiFi). Guests have access to a riverside boat ramp, 3 pools (one on the riverside, one on the beachside, and one in the middle with a spa), as well as 3 sets of tennis courts and a shuffleboard court. Additionally, there are restrooms, showers, and laundry facilities available on the resort. Perfect for RVs or fifth-wheel trailers, our concrete lot can accommodate up to a 40' Class A RV. While pets are accepted on site, they are not allowed on the beach. Whether you're looking for a weekend getaway or a longer stay, our property provides an ideal retreat for all seasons.
