Step Into a Time Capsule of Cozy Nostalgia Welcome to The Rustic Cozy Cabin, a hidden gem tucked away in the serene forests of Wintergreen, Bragg Creek. More than just a getaway—this little retreat is a portal to the past, filled with vintage treasures that will transport you back to simpler times. Hand-built in the 1980s, this authentic rustic cabin remains lovingly untouched, preserving its warm and inviting retro charm. Curl up by the wood-burning stove, surrounded by a nostalgic collection of VHS tapes, vinyl records, classic books, and board games, all waiting to be rediscovered. It’s a true time capsule, where every item tells a story, and every moment feels like stepping into a cherished memory. 🔥 Rustic Comfort, Minimal Hassle 🔥 Cozy Sleeping Arrangements: A double bed with a warm goose-down blanket and a heated mattress pad. The couch in the living room sleeps one extra guest. Bedding, pillows, and blankets provided. Best suited for 2-3 guests. Toasty Warmth: Heated by a wood-burning stove (bring your own firewood), with two oil radiators for added comfort. The cabin is well-insulated and stays warm, even in extreme cold. Kitchenette: Equipped with a microwave, air-fryer, kettle, mini fridge, drip coffee maker, and Breville espresso machine, plus all necessary dishes/cutlery. No running water inside, but a water dispenser and access to tap water are provided. Outdoor Cooking: Fire up the propane BBQ with a side burner or gather around the fire pit for a classic outdoor meal. Modern Bathing Facilities: A private bathroom is available just 30 steps away, featuring a double shower, fresh towels, bathrobes, slippers, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and a hairdryer. Private Hot Tub: A new, large hot tub under a gazebo, surrounded by pine trees for a magical soak. Maintained daily for cleanliness and comfort. Privacy screens and blinds ensure your peace. There is no cell service, but we provide Starlink WiFi. To stay connected, enable WiFi calling on your phone. The Cabin is located on the same property as the Shanti Yurt and the owner’s house. While we value and respect your privacy, and the cabin has its own designated bathroom, private hot tub, and backyard, please note that this is not a completely secluded cabin.

You'll love this unique, romantic or family escape in an authentic Mongolian Yurt equipped with tons of modern amenities. A stay at the Shanti Yurt is an unforgettable experience all year round. The "Shanti Yurt" is a haven for deep relaxation with forest views. Located on 2,5 acres of forest in Wintergreen Bragg Creek, the land offers access to nearby hiking trails, golf, West Bragg Creek day-use area, horseback riding, Elbow Falls, and 11 awesome places to dine in Bragg Creek. The name "Shanti" means inner peace in Sanscrit and this is all about the space you will stay in. Yurts have been the primary style of home in Central Asia, particularly Mongolia, for thousands of years. Shanti Yurt was designed by a Mongolian Artist who painted by hand the wood beams and the entrance door. The Yurt arrived from Mongolian Syberia in March 2022 and we spent 3.5 months building it by ourselves (my husband Nick and myself with the help of Nick's friends). The yurt is 20ft in diameter and has an open space layout. As we were creating a space for romantic getaways and meditation retreats, we have chosen a Bohemian style for the interior. Designed with your every comfort in mind, the yurt is adorned with: - Designer log queen bed with a Beautyrest Imperial Collection luxury mattress - SO COMFY!- "Buffy" Down-filled Duvet - Organic-Cotton Towels- Luxe Linens, 100% Cotton and Bamboo Sheets- Eco-friendly repurposed furnishings- Designer log sofa bed converts to a queen bed. Pls, let me know if you are planning to use the sofa bed in advance so that I prepare a second set of bedding for you.- Breville Barista coffee machine + roasted coffee beans and syrup - start your day from a Starbucks coffee or even better :-) - Spacious deck with BBQ and propane side burner for outdoor cooking, a lounge sofa and a patio dining set - Custom-made natural rock wood firepit- Propane patio firepit (for the days with fire ban) - Boho swing set - Skylight Dome- Indoor wood stove for heat and for cooking + triple insulated walls keep you cozy in winter. - Kitchenette - microwave, toaster oven, utensils and cutlery, pots&pans, clay tea set and stoneware dishes, crystal glasses and vintage shots - anything you touch in the Yurt has its unique texture! - Forest Views- Parking right next to the Yurt- Large tongue drum and a music book - try creating your own meditation music- Air conditioning- WiFi. Please keep in mind that this is "mountain" wifi and depending on the weather it can be a bit slow or spotty. - Water dispenser (cold/hot drinkable water). - A collection of books and board games- Private Full Bathroom with a Shower for Two (two shower heads - try it, it is amazing!) - the bathroom is not shared and is reserved for the Yurt guests. It is located in a separate structure about 40 steps away from the yurt. Enjoy slow mornings, peaceful days, and star-gazing nights in the comfort of our 4-season "Shanti" Yurt. Designed to stay cool in the summer, and equipped with a powerful wood stove to keep you warm throughout winter, we invite you to come back each season for a unique experience. With all its comforts, the Yurt is a GLAMPING experience - glamorous camping. The camping aspect includes occasional bugs/mosquitos that might find their way into your yurt. Please come with the mindset that this will be a unique nature immersion experience, coupled with the cushiest of comforts. At the same time, our Yurt is not a tent or a glamping dome, it is a solid and very well-insulated structure, which doesn't leak in rains, doesn't shake in wind and is toasty warm in winter. The Shanti Yurt is part of the Bragg Creek Glamping family of retreat spaces and sits on the same property as your host's house and the Rustic Cozy Cabin (additional private guest space). Both the Cabin and the Yurt have exclusive access to their own designated outdoor areas and designated bathrooms. Rustic Cozy Cabin with Hot Tub

Nick and Anna were wonderful, they greeted us when we arrived. Max (the dog) was super chill, which was great for our dog who can be a bit of a nut. 😂 We came across a few issues, which Anna and Nick were able to tend to immediately, which was very appreciated. The only reason I don’t give 100% review is because of a reaction to the hot tub, which affected my sensitive areas. 😉🤣 Looking at the previous reviews, cooking was never an issue for us, as we cooked on the bbq and attached burner. Nick and Anna have made this place to be super comfortable by adding logs, fences and camouflaged material to add more privacy. As an avid camper, it was no different than being at a public campground; it was better.

The cabin was exactly as expected. The bed was sooo comfy. The hot tub was the perfect temperature and very clean. My Frenchie and I had a very relaxing time.

The cabin premises are cramped .. a tall prospective guest (taller than 6' 2") would have trouble navigating .. also the cooking facilities are limited .. if one wanted to prepare a full meal it'd be tricky (we didn't need to so it worked out) .. aside from that the space is as advertised, elements work + Anna + her family are responsive hosts. Bragg Creek as a town has a lot of creative energy + a good sense of stewarding the environment well.
