It is closed from October through February. Nestled in a private canyon just 20 minutes from Fort Collins, this 5-star RV stay offers the perfect escape. Don’t worry about rv parks, dump stations, and utilities. It’s all taken care of for you, nestled on a custom dug terrace overlooking my private canyon. Sunrises and sunsets are a dream! This RV is parked for you, set, and ready to enjoy. City water is on site via a 250 gallon fresh water tank (I fill it for each visitor). I also take care of the sewage and grey tanks for every visitor. This is an off grid property, with all the amenities you need. There is no cell service, but I have you covered. Starlink satellite is on site, and gives you super fast, high speed connection. Enjoy 20 acres of wildflowers, quiet nights, and stunning canyon views. Firewood is provided for your camp fire, in either of the two fire pits just steps from the rv. A nearby shed also offers a place for luggage, trash storage, etc and gives you more room in the rv. The RV is solar-powered with a backup diesel generator. and fully equipped for comfort. It has a queen size bed, two bunk beds, and a convertible dining table that makes into another full sized bed. Sleep 5 in comfort. Adventure nearby: fish the Poudre River (10 minutes) or catch live music at Mishawaka Amphitheater (20 minutes). Peace. Quiet. Spring colors. Adventure. Kings Canton is tucked away, and access isn’t too bad. I have spent 8 years rebuilding the road for access by most vehicles. Four wheel drive is recommended just in case, but not necessary. The private road has loose gravel in spots. Most SUVs can access. I have had my Ford Focus and my Toyota Prius up there (although some people say I’m crazy). I don’t recommend kings canyon for anyone with fear of heights! The roads are safe, but there are steep drops and switchbacks. Explore my property and witness hummingbird migrations. They fly here from Mexico. If you’re unsure about access, or anything else, please message me prior to booking and I’ll give you my honest assessment. No one knows Kings Canyon better than I do!

What a wonderful experience! We took a 40’ motor home in and out easily. It’s also close to the main road in and out. Tommy and Tiffany are both wonderful people, very inviting and the camping spaces are quite private and quiet with views of horses in a pasture and goats occasionally herded one way or another. The community is awesome, very welcoming, and the onsite Rigby’s offers good food and great live music. There is a new small building with restrooms and a shower in one of them. Electric, up to 50amp (bring an adapter if you are set up for 30 amp) and water hookups. Dump station right next to property. Definitely recommend. I will go here again

Weekend Trip to Gordon Creek RV Park

Not only were our hosts helpful way we needed a rubber washer on our RV maiden voyage, but the property is Oh so special! We saw big sky stars, and heard lovely birds singing, visited the horses and goats. The cream on the top of this extra special place is Rigby’s on property for all things restaurant bar ice cream. Rigby The Dog comes by to check on the tables. We happened to go on a Saturday night and caught some wonderful live music ! We can’t wait to be back. The hook ups all worked great, and there is a dump station on site.

A nice place to prairie/farm camp. Very quiet. Wonderful hosts made sure we had what we needed (thanks for the fresh eggs!) Great views and we saw beautiful sunsets every evening. This is a good spot if you’re just passing through, or to use as a basecamp to check out Cheyenne and/or Laramie. As a reminder, this is prairie land, so bring your own shade!

Weekend Trip to Gordon Creek RV Park

We stayed in cabin #2 and we loved it! It was a nice get away with a great view! We're pretty private and introverted people so we didn't go out and socialize much, but there was a cafe so we absolutely could have! Everything worked as expected, everything was clean, instructions were provided and they were pretty clear. There were a few discrepancies between what the listing says, the info in the binder, and the text I received, but it wasn't a big deal and was sorted out quickly. There were a few dogs around that were very friendly! We love dogs. The wifi calling wasn't working for me, there is no cell service there - but there is wifi, just something to keep in mind.

We stayed in this cabin after two days of dispersion camping. It was the perfect place to clean up and sleep indoors! Great communication from the owner and a beautiful property

Weekend Trip to Its A Wonderful Place

Lovely apartment with a log cabin feel. Clean and well appointed. Close to Mishawaka Amphitheatre and restaurant where we enjoyed lunch on a deck overlooking the river after a morning of rafting. An incredibly beautiful canyon and property.
