2 nights at Camp at the Rafter JB

If you’re looking for a quiet, private spot to put your camper near Lovell, don’t pass this one up. Great amenities with a gas grill, small pond, water to fill your tank, 30/50 amp electric, beautifully manicured property, a great fire pit and it’s close to town but you’d never know it. I highly recommend Brenda and her spot. Great people who provide one of the best HipCamp sites I’ve stayed at.

1 night at Where Am I to Go Campground

I loved camping on Loren's land! We came from Yellowstone on our way to Devils tower and mount Rushmore. Its a great halfway point! The land is beautiful. 6 RV spots and they have space for tent camping. Came in a campervan. The provided electricity and water hook up. They have a clubhouse with WIFI, bathroom, shower and a kitchen. Being on the road for a few day this was a great change of pace for us! Very dog friendly, they have two dogs themselves super sweet pups and loves to play ball! Very peaceful overall! 5 out 5 stars from us! Great host!

1 night at Cowtown Ranch

Beautiful and peaceful site under the trees, surrounded by green pasture. We were the only guests, so it felt very private. Nice and clean bathroom with shower. 30 minute ride to Red Lodge, feels like you are away from everything.

This place is the place to be for a beautiful and quiet stay. Close enough to everything, but you still feel like you're out of it all. Such a well kept area with a tranquil little pond. The animals are friendly as is the host. Very pleased.

Beautiful property by Rock Creek. Family had a great time and even saw a moose and two calves walk right through camp.

This place was great. Shower was wonderful. Loved that they had places for dogs to play. Owner and his wife were amazing definitely recommend.

Weekend Trip to Loopy Lasso

We were only stopping for the evening as we left early next morning. Unfortunately for exploring a bit, it was raining when we got there and pretty much all night. Honestly, we were so tired from our great Cody/Yellowstone experiences that we pretty much slept. But very lovely setting! Easy to get to from town. Thank you for sharing your place!

1 night at Where Am I to Go Campground

We stayed one night at this charming campsite with our tent ! The welcome was very warm and the instructions clear on how to get there. We had access to a clean indoor kitchen, a lovely bathroom and a living room with sofa. We were able to do our laundry on site. It was like being at home !

5 nights at Chance, Montana

Great camping spot. We loved how quiet and peaceful it was by the river. We really enjoyed staying there and exploring Yellowstone.

7 nights at Silverside Ranch

Beautiful views and convenient location to town. We had a great stay!

11 nights at Loopy Lasso

“Tad’s” land became home to us. We were there for 11 nights and fell in love with Cody. There was so much to see and do. Tad was there with great suggestions on restaurants and must sees, and also became a dear friend.. The sunsets on the property were exceptional with the mountains being our background the entire stay. A double rainbow covered the property the night before we left, leaving us feeling like we had found a second home.

1 night at Bear Trap Ranch

The host was fantastic! She offered us great recommendations for Red Lodge and we loved it! Bathrooms were available with nice pressure and hot water. The ranch itself is off the beaten path but the view is incredible.

1 night at Sweetiebird Farms In Cody WY

First, this is extremely easy to find and about 10 minutes from downtown Cody. Margaret, the host, is super nice and very accommodating. She sells huge bundles of firewood for $5! The two alpaca llama mixes don't give a crap about humans so they'll ignore you, but the cows are fun and the horses are super sweet. Beautiful surroundings on a working farm with views of the mountains and 360 views of the amazing scenery. There may be dry cow patties occasionally but if that bothers you you shouldn't be coming to a farm! Spaces for camping and RVs are well separated ensuring privacy, the place is well taken care of, and the evening breezes are fantastic. Very quiet here with no trains or planes or automobiles but the occasional coyotes at night! I plan on coming back later this summer and again next year because this place makes me feel very much at peace!

Weekend Trip to Loopy Lasso

We spent 2 nights at Loopy Lasso. The hosts were awesome and the site was well kept and had water/electric hookups. The sunsets were amazing. We would highly recommend spending time at the LL if you are near Cody, WY.

3 nights at Silverside Ranch

Beautiful views of the mountains. Just outside Cody so easy access to the town. John was a very accommodating host. Would stay here again!

The site has full RV hookup. Eric is quick to respond. He gave me the instructions how to use utilities. There is a spectacular river with lots of wildlife. Absolutely worth the stay.

2 nights at Loopy Lasso

We loved Tad’s land, very spacious, quiet and beautiful views of the mountains. Tad was fast to respond and gave detailed instructions on how to find the camp location.

1 night at Rock Creek Retreat

THIS CAMPSITE WAS 10000/10 !!!!! We loved it beyond belief! It had everything we were looking for in a campsite that we ended up extending our stay one more night! Jarod was quick to respond to all of our messages and was a gracious host! Would love to stay here again!! It was a perfect getaway!! And the town of Rd Lodge is such a fun town!!

We are a small campground with 6 RV spaces. 4 tent Spaces. Lots of room for dry campers. We have a dump station and offer a honey wagon for campers who choose to stay for a longer stay. We offer a clubhouse with sitting room, Kitchen facility, laundry and rest room with shower. We are also pet friendly. We are located and what is referred to as the hub of the Big Horn Basin. We have lots of activities within a 60 mile radius of our campground. Including dinosaur museums, history museums. Buffalo Bill Cody Museum large ATV open ride areas. We are close to the Big Horn River for kayaking or canoeing. The Big Horn Mountains are close by and there are lots of outdoor activities in the area.

42 acres just a few miles north of Cody Wy, Rodeo Capital of the World, home to world renowned Buffalo Bill Center of the West and 55 miles from the East Entrance to Yellowstone National Park. Tent or RV sites along the hayfield. Cows are gone in the summer, but there are Llama//alpacas, chickens, horses, dogs and a cat. Great star watching at night. Occasional Aurora Borealis and falling/shooting stars. The property backs up to a State section of 640 acres for short hikes. There are not water or electric hookups, but there is a hydrant available for water. Please be reasonable, if you need to fill up a large amount please let me know. I now have a PortaPotty on site. I have a shed with electricity if you need to charge cell phones etc, This is my second summer with Hipcamp. I am flexible, please communicate if you have different requirements or needs. If you have a bigger group, reach out. I now have firewood available. Also Grass fed grass finished beef. Hamburger and steak!
