We have a restroom with toilet, shower, sink and laundromat. We are located in a small town but there is lots to do. Hiking, boating on a beautiful lake and also on the Snake River, fishing with outfitters and guides. There is a really nice grocery store just 4 miles from us. Restaurants if you want to eat out. Also there is a city park right across the street.

Come spend a relaxing time at the base of one of the mountain foothills in stunning Star Valley, WY with a view over a rippling creek below, ranches spread across the valley floor, and watch the sunrise over the mountains on the other side! As the only camper on our 17 acres surrounded by several larger ranches, you will be overlooking part of the old Oregon Trail in the valley below. Above and around you are a rocky hillside covered with wild berry bushes, many songbirds, and larger wildlife like deer, snowshoe hares, elk, foxes, and coyotes. A moose or bear might even wander by. The hillside rises steeply behind you, turning into more mountains as it climbs out of sight.
It is generally a quiet rural area about 6 miles from a town with gas, groceries, coffee shops, restaurants, laundromat, camper showers, and other amenities available. There are many trailheads for hiking nearby as well as fishing access to the main river at multiple points across the valley. The Star Valley and Oregon Trail history museums in town provide a fascinating look into the history of this valley. And the largest intermittent spring in the world is a beautiful short hike from a nearby trailhead.
In the summer you'll probably hear Red Winged Blackbirds singing in the willows along the creek below and spot brilliant Western Tanagers flitting among the bushes. Bring your binoculars and some patience and you will likely spot a huge variety of other birds as well! This hillside is tucked in the middle of many working ranches so you might see cowboys ride by on horseback, a herd of cows being moved from one pasture to another, or 4 wheelers moving around depending on the time of year.
This is a boon-docking site with no water, power, or toilet available. Just lots of nature and views! Plan for pack it in/pack it out and help us keep this spot of nature a place where many people can enjoy the peace of time in the mountains. The parking spot its self is a flat graveled pad suitable for rigs up to a 26 feet in length or tent camping. A small sitting area with a pair of chairs is provided for you to enjoy your morning coffee while watching the sunrise if you like. There is a gravel lane that comes up the hill from the paved county road below, and then the campsite sits off to the side of that tucked into a corner of the steep hillside. Family lives in a cabin further up the hillside, but out of both sight and earshot from the campsite. Sadly no campfires due to the danger of a wildfire. Camp stoves are just fine.
We love our pets, and yours are welcome! But please keep them on a leash due to the high volume of wildlife in the area, some of which can easily kill a dog.
Verizon phones usually have service in this particular spot, other carriers tend to be hit and miss.
Plan to check in sometime after 3:00 p.m. on the day of your arrival and check out before 11:00 a.m. so we have a little bit of time in between guests to do any mowing or other maintenance to the site area.

The Shoshone and Nez Perce Native American tribes spent their summers in this area hunting and fishing the many streams in this valley. Trapper's used the area until the U.S. market collapse of the beaver skin top-hat in the late 1830's. Mormon pioneers began settling here in the 1890's. My great-grandparents settled in Teton Valley after moving from Nebraska in 1917. They farmed this land; growing potatoes, barley and hay. Today we raise alfalfa/grass hay that we feed to our horses. In the bottom of our field south of the campsite is Trail Creek, which is the headwaters of the Teton River. It flows out of the southern Teton mountain range in Wyoming and into Idaho. This water eventually joins the mighty Snake River near Rexburg, Idaho as it continues it's journey to the pacific ocean. Summer's here are usually warm sunny days with cool, chilly nights. I have an open field and then a grass area that are available for camping, car camping and campers.
On site there are dogs and horses. Dogs are welcome as long as they well behaved!
This is a WORKING horse property, so please don’t be surprised if you need manure, hay, wheelbarrow, trailers, etc around.
The horses are friendly but I kindly ask that you do not go inside their pasture.

It was the best college-student work experience ever! Today, we still love the interaction with happy vacationers and people who want to experience this beautiful area of our country! The field extends all around you, but it is held in trust, and the area outside your staked off spot can't, unfortunately, be utilized by campers.
We don't allow any pets, due to our livestock and wildlife around us. This summer, we've had a doe and twin fawns wandering around almost every day. We've had every single type of large wildlife the Tetons offer here at one point or another. The chokecherry trees you'll camp by have delicious fruit you can choose to eat in season(at your own descretion, and while they are in season-some in our family are allergic, but we've made chokecherry jam and jelly from the fruit from these trees for years). Please stay in your designated camping area, detailed by the stakes.

It has open space views on a few sides, and a subdivision (Mountainside Village) going in across the street. Victor has become a gathering place for people who want to experience Jackson and Jackson Hole, Wyoming, and the beauty of Teton Valley. We rent to a lot of mountain bikers, hikers, fishermen, and people seeking to enjoy the culture of the Tetons.

Taylor Mountain, in the Grand Teton Range, is the biggest mountain you'll see directly from here, and the foothills of the Grand Tetons start across the roadway.
There are tons of mountain biking, fishing areas, and hiking trails out our door, starting with the shared use pathway system in front of the campsite.
Close by, there are multiple canyons, streams, rivers, reservoirs, lakes and forests to explore. Or, if you head towards Victor, there are food trucks, breweries, night life, grocery stores, gas stations, a pharmacy and medical clinic, and a big playground and park. Most people want to visit Jackson Hole, Grand Teton National Park and Yellowstone while they are here....but you won't want to leave this bit of paradise that we offer you.
You must bring your OWN camper or RV. WE are only providing the SPACE for ONE RV or Camper driven in by you.... Please--NO TENTS. Your cooking and bathroom facilities must be enclosed within a hard-sided unit. No loose outside pets as we have livestock which must be protected.
Book ahead, and save yourself the hassle of finding a spot on the spur of the moment. We have no hookups. It's a lovely parking spot.
For a second RV spot, a back-in only RV site which is adjacent to ours, and just a few hundred feet away, is available. For two spots, book Ross Meadow RV as well. ONE RV and one extra vehicle allowed per site. Pets must be approved prior to you visiting and must be leashed when outside on our property.

Nice and simple site, friendly staff. When we went the restaurant wasn't open unfortunately (open tues-sat). When you arrive you pull into whichever space you want that's open, so don't expect it to be the one you reserved if someone's already there. It worked for what we needed, and it was nice being able to use the shower. It's might be a bit far if you have mobile limitations, only the back door is open after the bar closes for the bathroom facilities and there are a few steps. If we're in the area we'd visit again and hope to be there on a day the restaurant is open.

John and Lisa are so kind, communicative and accommodating. I can't recommend this place enough! I got in late both nights I was there and they did everything possible to make sure I had what I needed, knew exactly where the parking was and where to go, and even gave me a little space where my dog could run around if I wanted. I'm in the Tetons for a couple weeks and their hipcamp spot is in a great location! Easy to get into the national park and Jackson, right next to downtown victor where you can walk to shops, or you can head to the national forest side of the Tetons and be there within 15-30 min. Would absolutely stay here again next time I'm in town.

We loved, loved, loved Kristin and Zach's Retreat! Their hospitality was truly exceptional and made our trip both enjoyable and unforgettable. The property is beautiful and pristine and the views were awesome. Zach met us when we pulled in and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and made suggestions of places to see. A scenic 40-45 minute drive to Jackson and an additional 10-15 minutes to Grand Teton NP. I was sad to leave and we will definitely be back!

David was an excellent host, and his RV camp felt private, serene, and had nice views. There were full hook ups. We ended up booking this place last minute, after 5 PM – and David responded right away and accommodated us. There’s only a handful of spots, and you’re NOT packed in like a hundred sardines as the other location down the road. As a bonus, David recommended some great spots to ride our e dirt bikes! Alpine is a great destination enjoy peaceful nights away from the Jackson tourist crowds- but close enough to enjoy all of the hotspots during the day. If you missed boat booking your nps campsite, and hate the traditional RV park- this spot checks all of the boxes!

We enjoyed David’s RV trailer accommodations in Alpine! It was a last-minute find, and we were very appreciative that he responded quickly as daylight was waning. We had full hook ups, a beautiful view and a quiet setting. There are only a handful of sites available, so it feels private and unique- unlike the other nearby RV parks that pack you in like sardines with a parking lot vibe. As a bonus, we were able to use our E bikes on some very cool trails nearby. The 45 min drive was easy and beautiful to Jackson/ Grand Teton National Park. It was worth escaping the summer crowds around Jackson to find this little peaceful gem!

This was a laid back and quirky camp site. It didn’t look like much upon pulling in, but we were pleasantly surprised to have electric hook ups that we didn’t expect per our reservation. There is a lovely creek (river?) a short walk from the campsites. We appreciated the laundry, shower and bathroom facilities. Don’t miss the goat cheese eggrolls at the bar. Best bar food ever!

Very simple place to camp. 30 and 50 amp service was great especially on the mornings when it was chilly. Easy to find, within 45 minutes of Jackson and the Tetons. The other campers appeared to be long term and only saw two other visitors stay while we were here. Good place to stop for a night or two.

This place is amazing!! Yummy breakfast in the AM. Very updated, clean, and spacious showers and bathrooms. Lots of spots to hang out and relax and gorgeous views!! Also very friendly staff, hope to stay here again!

Perfect little spot right across from a beautiful park! Great location to get to the river and go do adventures! Dogs loved the quiet area too! Hookups were great and the bathroom/shower/laundry location was convenient and private.

This was a great campground at a very reasonable rate with breakfast included. The campground host, Mr. Milkbone was very popular with my dogs! The location was great and I had fun renting the e-bikes and riding to the town up the way for lunch. Would absolutely stay here again.
