Learn more about this land: We are located near Leiter, Wy 82837 please search this and notice we are remotely located, not close to town. There are multiple spots to pick for pitching a tent. Decide if you’d like to camp on the banks of clear creek or on a top of a hill with a view. If you’re pulling a camper or driving an RV there are 2 easily accessible locations with access to power. Locations are near Clear Creek so you can enjoy playing in the water or take a hike through a pasture. There is a cafe and bar just 4 miles up the road. They also offer shower and laundry services. We are a real working cattle ranch and there is local wildlife to view. What an amazing opportunity to be lost in the grasslands of Wyoming, with not a soul insight other than horses, prairie dogs, antelope and deer. Hiked up the hill in the morning and surprised two doe and two bucks who stared at me from fifteen feet until they hopped off. Water and electricity as advertised with nice flat spot for camper. A short ride into Sheridan which has a wonderful Main Street, and looking out at the Big Horn Mts as the sun sets. Couldn’t ask for more. Host very responsive to any questions!

Wow. The views. The peace. The privacy. I loved this place! I was on a road trip with my little dog and wanted a place to camp for the night -- someplace away from the bustle of noisy and packed campgrounds. This place was just what I was looking for. Situated on a hillside and looking down into a valley with the Rockies standing in their glory off in the distance. The views were amazing! I took it all in as I ate dinner while the sun set, my dog wandered, and the prairie dogs chirped around us! When I got up the next morning, a bald eagle flew above as the prairie dogs and a deer watched us pack up. On the way out, a couple more deer bounced up the hill. I'd definitely stay here again! Note: Follow the directions the host sends you. Google Maps/GPS will likely send you to the neighbor's driveway.

Easy access to the northern Bighorn mountains and Chad was so gracious and accommodating - he even took the time to look over some maps of the wilderness and show me some beautiful areas to hike and camp. Wonderful experience!

Fabulous view! Very private and I felt safe. There is lots of wildlife, plus horses in the area. This is my favorite Hipcamp spot so far. I will go back.

Awesome spot. We loved how secluded it was and all the wildlife we saw. We saw pronghorn and their babies, mule deer Buck and some does, pheasants, bald Eagle and prairie dogs! Thank you

Peaceful and beautiful views. You are the only campers, which is really nice. Some prairie dog holes so watch your dogs. Nice vibe though if you like to be by yourself.

This camp site was amazing. The views were beautiful! Didn’t see anyone our whole stay but only 13 min from downtown Sheridan. We would definitely recommend and stay here again.
